The small things in life that bring you joy

Do you think he drove to the jail later? -
But why Nigel Farage? He has no more right to be there than my next door neighbour. Are you really trying to say that Farage isn’t prejudiced?
-
Why should he have a ‘fair crack’.
-
Why did you have to do that? You’ve spoilt it for him now by revealing the result.
-
Oh dear. This is absolutely not the way to treat your customer base.
-
Indeed. But if it isn’t and relies on NFC I can foresee problems. I know the club were looking at digital tickets two summers ago but couldn’t do anything on account of the worldwide shortage of NFC chips. (As a lifelong electronics design engineer I hate the use of the word ‘chips’)
-
That’s an interesting thought 🤔
-
Isn’t that annoying. It’s the same when you start to turn the turnstile and trip or something.
-
Personally I have never needed to do that in all my decades as a season ticket holder.
-
I think that’s against the Act too 😉
-
Why should they have to? Such thinking goes against the Disability Discrimination Act, now Equality Act.
-
There will be a lot more of that. I ask again, why not be able to print them out? I hope to God that they’re not relying on contactless NFC.

This is the key for me. Instead of using the goalkeeper as an inclusive member of the back 4/5/6 we changed to a structured back line with a goalkeeper behind. Instead of the defenders constantly having to move around changing their position and leaving holes and weaknesses to be exploited they could concentrate on maintaining their relationship to their fellow defenders. At Wembley our defence was like a fortress.

What happens at the ground when your phone doesn’t work, which it won’t always. Technology falls over when you need it. Why can’t we just print off a season ticket at home?
-
Nice, thanks. I’ve ordered a couple.
-
But you have to remember your phone and have enough battery life.

No 4, Ampadu. Even better than I remember. What I didn’t appreciate at the time was the way that AA struck the ball. He was leaning slightly to the right and clipped the ball across into the far side. A very difficult shot to read if you’re a goalkeeper. -

Joy who? Never heard of her. -
Why is the photo reversed? I know I have trouble posting pictures the right way up but this is the Daily Mail! Ah.
