  1. Walking or wailing?
  2. We don’t know that for sure, one way or the other, because we only tried one way.
  3. One of my grandsons is called Nathan 😧
  4. If the ball deflects onto the arm from another part of his body it is not handball. "There will be no penalty if: the ball touches a player's hand/arm immediately from their own head/body/foot or the head/body/foot of another player."
  5. According to the report in The Times this morning the ball came off his chest first.
  6. I would have preferred more extensive highlights but I certainly didn’t miss the screaming commentary nor the extensive analysis and dissection.

    A bit nutty.
  8. Please, I was trying to
  9. I have it on good authority that they are not coming here to watch Saints.
  10. Jones brought in his mate from Stockport.Taylor was a much better keeper.
  11. An impressive result. A point that not many of us expected which might prove important in the end. Let’s be honest. Who expected that result?
  12. They’re all winnable. It’s just that some are more winnable than others.
  13. Of course it’s not a gain. I was correct in my assessment.
  14. We all know how this is going to end.
  15. The Times today has an extensive discussion about the relegation issue. It does point out that there is still one third of the season left to go.
  16. I record it and fast forward through all the crap.
  17. The south east of England is very densely populated. You seem to think that all you need for housing is a bit of land. This is the simple logic of a simpleton. You also need electricity, gas (or more electricity), water, waste water, sewerage, schools, doctors, dentists, hospitals, roads, and some other land in order to replace the land that you’ve just built over. Yet thickheads like you (I don’t abuse people very often) haven’t begun to think about any of these requirements. You also need to find somebody to pay for all this. 200,000 new homes at £200,000 each minimum is £40bn that is taken out of the economy and invested in bricks and mortar. And that is just the direct cost. There is also the detrimental effect in the rest of the economy. And don’t get me started in CO2 emissions.
  18. Yep. Ridiculous isn’t it. ”To discourage the others” I suppose.
  19. You and me and all the other British taxayers. None of this net immigration is bringing any capital with them into the country.
  20. That is a lot of people. Who is paying for them? Or are they all being put up in your spare rooms?
  21. Totally meaningless. There are ten other players in front of any goalkeeper. Don't they have an influence on the goals conceded?
