TV replays are misleading especially when slow motion is used plus there is the psycho visual effect whereby the more you watch something the more you become convinced that the action was deliberate. In this instance the real time decision by the officials at the game was ‘no penalty’. And they were correct.

all very true but as it turned out we would have needed four more wins to have finished above Everton.

I rather believe that if that had been a game under normal circumstances Sulemana would have been 'taken out' long before he got anywhere near their goal. Still very enjoyable all the same and great for his confidence. Unfortunately he got a bit too cocky after that and wasted a couple of good opportunities.
