Isn’t Moi out of contract anyway?

Don’t even joke about it.

Bednarek? Watch again Fulham’s first goal on Saturday. Lyanco runs across to confront Reed and makes a hash of it and Bednarek rushes across to join him leaving Vinicius and Willian completely unmarked on the edge of our goal area but he slips up and falls on his arse for some reason. He does that a lot. To make matters worse McCarthy has also gone across to his near post. What is it about giving opposition players the freedom of our penalty area? Maybe they didn’t notice them because of their black kit. It was Keystone Cops defending.

For the first time I sat there wondering why I bothered going to our matches. Normally there is something to hold my attention, but no.

Yep. We had no choice to begin with as McCarthy was injured at the start, allegedly. -

And McCarthy has been woeful since he came in letting in 1, 3, 3 and 2. -
Where it belongs is League One. Maybe even League Two.

Yes, disgraceful. We were almost certainly down so I and others were hoping that they’d come out and try to give it a go. Just attempt to entertain us and ping the ball around with authority. Instead we got same old, same old.

He’s the one that threw away a season in Europe. There’s no way that he would have got enough points for European qualification.

We do, but that money needs to be spent wisely, which has not been the case so far.

End of season awards night and lap of appreciation

Some deserved applause. Some didn’t. -
I’d rather have a new back line that didn’t include Bednarek.

How wonderful. There was a bizarre incident in the first half yesterday when after repelling an attack we took a quick throw in in their half on our left flank releasing Stu into space and heading for their penalty area. The referee brought the game back for the throw in because VAR were looking at a potential handball in the previous attack. That is ridiculous interference in the flow of the game.

Yes, the hope had faded long ago.

I stand in awe. I didn’t realise that relegation was part of some vast eternal plan.

My copy of “Fowler’s Modern English Usage” has a section on this sort of thing. It refers the reader by saying, See ‘Meaningless Words’

Would this be the first season that no promoted team got relegated? I don’t have the records or the memory.

Well said. There is a saying about a captain running ‘a tight ship’ and that’s what we need now.

Isn’t that Conchita with his hair dyed?

The trouble with trying to identify anyone who is ‘upcoming’ is that they are unproven until they’ve proved themselves.

Many years ago I sold and installed some scoreboards at Strasbourg’s ground. They have concrete moats patrolled by dogs and the away supporters are caged up in a corner with a wire fence the same height as one around a tennis court. We don’t want to see that here.

Please God, no. He’s a terrible footballer. Even if he did get an assist for their first goal yesterday.
