No evidence Of that in the Itchen last Wednesday and no sign of any work going on last Friday either.

Is the Premier League too rich for us?
Whitey Grandad replied to Lallana's Left Peg's topic in The Saints
Yes indeed, but that wasn’t my point. Even in industry if you bring in someone who busts your pay structure you’re going to have complaints and unrest from all the other workers. This is even more important if you’re workers are a bunch of primadonna footballers. Who’s going to pass to someone who’s paid three times what they are just so that they can get all the glory? And even more money. -

But one player at £30-£40 million would also come with a wage bill to match it and that would certainly unbalance the dressing room. -
It’s not as though these random changes are an act of God though, is it? The changes in a country’s status are down to the whims of incompetents in which logical thinking takes no part. Last August we came back from France and had to quarantine at home for two weeks. Our daughter and her family who had been with us were caught by the sudden introduction of restrictions by less than 24 hours and had to do the same. Yet we had been in a region of France that had only had three infections in total up to that point. What have we done so wrong that we deserve this shower of wet drips in charge?

But in order to win it you have to win either the Premier League or the FA Cup first.

Three bars (hamburger) menu at top right. Click on your picture/name. There should be a couple of boxes are their one of which is ‘cover photo’. I think that’s it

Yes, makes you pause for thought. Everybody thinks it can never happen to them, only other people. It should be compulsory reading for anyone who’s not sure about getting vaccinated.

It helps to get a higher price.

I'm just leaving the stadium. The best seats that they could offer me were up in the corners and my grandson can't go so I asked for and got a refund for both seats for tomorrow. There is no sign of any work taking place in the Kingsland. No vans parked outside or anything.
-
They've only had sixteen months to get the Kingsland ready. Why the rush? I couldn't see any evidence of padded seats whn I was there on Wednesday. There again, I couldn't see much of anything.
-
I've just got through to the TO after a fair wait but I got cut off in mid chat. I was told that I would be put in either Block 4 Block 5 which is a long way off centre. I think I shall pop along to the TO later this afternoon and if there is nothing suitable I shall ask for a refund.
-
I've just had two emails confirmaing that my tickets for the Kingsland for tomorrow have been cancelled and that we shall be moved to the Itchen. This is not good enough.

Who says we can’t compete? If you believe all the talk our competitors are Norwich and Crystal Palace. But only if you believe the rumours. Being able to compete and wanting to compete are different things. -
So any decline was due to Austin joining us?

The PremierLeague is too rich for most of the teams in it. It’s a farce that some clubs can spend so much more than most of the others. -
True. There’s usual a period of a few days of mourning before the funeral elegy.

He’s gone. Why would we need to do anything? No rush.

The dominoes are set up and just waiting for the first to fall.
