  1. My thoughts exactly. I have often wondered wat the maximum score could be in practical terms. It takes quite a bit of time to run up half the pitch, score, bring the ball back and wait for the other team to kick off again. I have played in quite a few drubbings in my time. On the receiving end, of course.
  2. I think he's probably better than some of what we have but not as good as we should be aiming for. To my mind if he were really good then he wouldn't have been out on loan.
  3. I’ll wait until tomorrow. At my age you don’t get excited over such things any more but I do need to get some holidays booked. Then the bastard TV companies will go and move them anyway.
  4. Mings is a Bournemouth player who has been on loan to Villa for last season.
  5. Google search results that don't include one of the words that you typed. There's a reason that I typed it you long-haired, drug-crazed load of adolescent pimple-arsed hippies!
  6. I expected nothing and I don’t expect to be disappointed. That’s really my point, a few extra million from Liverpool will not make a noticeable difference.
  7. Machines that nag at you. Microwaves that keep beeping when they've finished. Washing machines are just as bad.
  8. Car park ticket machines that make you type in your registration number but then time out before you can find the right coins to put in making you go through the whole f*****g procedure again.
  9. A few million here or there won't make any difference to the ordinary supporter. It certainly won't make my season tickets any cheaper.
  10. Google results that don't include the answer you're looking for because they want you to click on their links.
  11. I think that in order to be fair the receiver should be allowed to make a large scream at any time they choose.
  12. Hamstring in training
  13. All too true, sadly. They think they’re better than they are.
  14. Smartphone zombies. Walk towards you and then when you stop in front of them suddenly look up and wonder where they are. There should be a special lane for them. Preferably down the middle of the road.
  15. On the other side... I have met a couple of Americans in international cruises who have benefited on separate occasions from the NHS. Both were expecting and fully prepared to pay for their treatment but in all cases payment was refused. They were very impressed. I was at a company on an industrial estate in Atlanta one evening and one of the cleaners suddenly felt ill. The paramedics were called out and would not take him to hospital until he positively confirmed that he wanted to go and they were satisfied that his cleaning company would pay. Our Canadian colleagues said that in Canada they would take you to hospital by default unless you signed a waiver otherwise. Incidentally the American paramedics were enormous, each was the size of a pickup truck.
  16. Any agent worth his fees would make sure that every available avenue was explored before signing off the deal.
  17. And Ivan Golac (on loan) Not forgetting John Gittens RIP
  18. Be my guest: Kinsey Wolanski https://dailysunpost.com/who-is-champions-league-streaker-kinsey-wolanski-and-what-is-her-boyfriends-x-rated-youtube-show-vitaly-uncensored/
  19. Middle lane joggers turn a three-lane motorway into a two-lane motorway. They should be pulled over and summarily executed (without blocking the hard shoulder, obviously)
  20. True, but how many speedometers are accurate? The police view is that it is not the job of the individual to police the motorway. In any case motorways only operate properly if everybody keeps to the left and if there is a variation of speeds otherwise bunching occurs which is dangerous. The speed limit is set at 70 in the full knowledge that speeds between 70 and 80 are common. There is speeding and there is dangerous driving which are not necessarily the same thing.
  21. Cameron was not in a position to offer that promise nor to implement it, as we have found out. It was most likely unconstitutional too. It was for Parliament to decide on the outcome, not ‘the People’, whoever they were.
  22. That’s two hours of my life that I’ll never gat back. I can’t think why I was looking forward to watching that.
  23. Yawn
  24. Endless pitch invasions?
