  1. I can tell from your replies that you have never been in a managerial position or an office in a military organisation. Professional footballers have always behaved this way. If one player didn't like another he would deliberately give him a pass that was short or one that invited a crunching tackle. The extreme example of such behaviour was in Vietnam where fragging of unpopular officers became increasingly common. It's not a matter of 'not being arsed', there are lots of ways in which players can underperform and we have witnessed a lot of this in recent months. It's what is referred to as 'lost the dressing room'.
  2. He wasn't the only one and it was in lots of games.
  3. Puel is also getting paid shedloads of money and if he can't get the players to do the business for him then he's not up to the job. Hurt feelings? Poor little diddums (in French)
  4. Neither are they cattle to be herded by whips. There are plenty of books on how to manage people to get the best out of them. It could be that Puel just doesn't have what it takes.
  5. No, it says that Puel has lost the respect of the players and no authority. It's like naughty kids playing up in front of a poor teacher.
  6. He hasn't gone yet. Has he?
  7. What, even with an exciting new manager?
  8. Do you think we're going to get a cup final every year? If not, then getting there once is not really a factor.
  9. I'm watching it now. All very frantic.
  10. You're not still trying to blame Forster?
  11. We could have played Cáceres of course. It wasn't a case of not marking Ibrahimovic, more a case of running away from him when it mattered. That really was bad luck.
  12. Unlucky to let in three goals?
  13. And the English sacked Harfleur. Once more unto the breach and all that.
  14. Good idea, but aren't the Itchen seats wider?
  15. Level on points with Bournemouth!
  16. Amen to that.
  17. Funnily enough I very much like the French but I want him to go. Nothing wrong with him as a person but his team's football has been poor.
  18. I very much doubt that seeing as its Roman name was Dubris.
  19. Wholesale scrapping and replacement of players would cost a hell of a lot of money, possibly as much as selling two VVDs. Much cheaper to find a manager to suit the players.
  20. Last season is now dead and gone. Now for a serious question: Do you believe in your heart that next season we shall get the an EFL final and finish 8th or better?
  21. I know mine is (You never know who reads this sort of trash. I think my wife has an account called 'Heisenberg' or something)
  22. That's ok, still gives them a week to scape up the money if they do. Of course, we had to wait for Celtic to be eliminated before we could sign him.
  23. You might want to check that again.
  24. Once he sees the young ladies at Leicester he'll be back here pleading for a job.
