I'm in a similar situation. We have two tickets at full price despite both being over 65 but if I buy tickets for the cup games then the pricing is based on the age of the people who are registered against the tickets.

Fines are not an allowable tax expense.

One assistant was miles away down the far touchline and the other is looking through a crowd of players. It takes a lot of balls for an assistant to give a penalty in this situation and in fact I can't remember it happening. These situations are covered in the officials' pre-match briefing with the instructions to the assistant being that he'd better be absolutely certain before flagging. The assistant can't be certain that it isn't a two-way thing. The fourth official only gets involved with disciplinary matters such as player identification. This shirt pulling goes on in every game and is often highlighted by the TV. Something should be done.

I tend to agree with you on this, austerity comes from the word 'austere' and doesn't mean tightening your belt a little, it means going without. I asociate austerity programmes with the post-war years and if you think that what we are doing now is austerity then it just doesn't compare.
