  1. It’s called “percussive maintenance”
  2. So he must have got into the box at least once.
  3. I have always thought it was Abraham Lincoln but, The following quote is attributed to the poet John Lydgate and later adapted by President Lincoln: “You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time”.
  4. “People who like this sort of thing will find this the sort of thing that they like” Strictly not interested
  5. Do you have the boobs to fill it?
  6. “This is the driving equivalent of watching England play football”
  7. The first game of the season is not showing yet and won’t be until about Friday 26th July. And you are correct. Subsequent games are planned to show about 7 days before so presumably can be transferred at that time. The QR code will be ‘activated’ 12 hours before kickoff. From their FAQs, “Can I forward my ticket(s) to a friend or family member? Yes – we are excited to offer this feature as a benefit that has not previously existed. The recipient must download our Saints Tickets app if they haven’t previously done so, in order to access the ticket(s) you have passed onto them. Please note – as the original ticket holder, you are responsible for who you pass your ticket(s) onto and any activity that may occur on matchday. Southampton FC may decide to turn-off ticket forwarding on a game-by- game basis, for matches which have a higher risk category and security requirements.” We shall have to wait and see.
  8. Doesn’t need them now.
  9. App only. They will need to have the app installed on their phone and have registered it with the club. And as far as I can see you cannot transfer a ticket that is not showing up on your phone. After the first home game this won’t be until about 12 hours before kickoff. There will be people setting off on their journey to St. Mary’s who haven’t received their transferred ticket yet.
  10. This forum gets more childish by the day. I’m disappointed in you, Steve. They weren’t vague. My argument is valid. They back up my point. The sad bastards are those that forensically analyse them and can’t grasp the fundamental points. There are plenty more examples from all over the world that Illustrate the problems that can arise. Should I post some more links?
  11. Thyme somebody did.
  12. Has the obvious question been asked, what form of voting would be used in a referendum on proportional representation?
  13. The first header should have been nowhere near the goalie.
  14. We had no cover at right back. That area was just a gaping hole most of the game.
  15. We never really gave it a go. Which is the ultimate disappointment.
  16. Ah well. It’s only a game.
  17. They are, but that’s not all that matters.
  18. Or because it doesn’t have any words.
  19. £££££££££
  20. Cults are everywhere.
  21. I've seen it a couple of times but very rarely. I think it's done as a way of letting the onfield referee save face. They pretend that it's his decision and not the VAR.
  22. No need to be so childish.
