  1. It's George at Asda.
  2. I bet you don't even realise that you've now developed an agenda.
  3. Oh my days, are you a real person?
  4. Trying to work out why the word 'vastly' is being used in that sentence. I failed.
  5. Agreed. I think generally the squad looks nackered as well.
  6. I'm ****ed off too and think it's a stupid decision. However there is another thread (amongst the thousands on the same subject) where some people are calling today one of their lowest as a Saints fan. That I can't understand. It was the 5th round.
  7. One of your lowest!? We went out of the cup in the 5th round it's annoying but it's happened plenty of times! You're right though in terms of lows I feel exactly like I did when we got relegated from the prem and when Branfoot was manager and it seemed we lost to a lower league team in the cup every year... Hysterical tart.
  8. Surprised to see Schneiderlin so low down om the MOM votes. Thought he was excellent today, controlled the midfield and can't remember him giving the ball away all night...
  9. So the same people who didn't like the reign under Cortese and rubbished all his signings and wanted the little old family club back are annoyed we haven't splashed the cash. Interesting. Until you make peace with what you are you'll never be content with what you have.
  10. Simon Peach ‏@SimonPeach 28m Right, let's get this cleared up: @LukeShaw3 has no intention of leaving #SaintsFC this month & the club are not willing to sell him.

    Gaston

    He was frustrating as fck.
  14. The thing was tonight Rickie was coming deep from the position of the lone striker, subsequently giving the CB's a decision to make as they don't know whether to follow him deep and leave space behind or keep their defensive line. It worked well today as their were pacey players coming from deep that could then be picked out. Unfortunately we don't have those pacey players (maybe besides J-Rod?) so when Rickie retreats deep he doesn't have that option and usually has to play it backwards, and IMO this leads to our (sometimes) pedestrian looking attacks and this isn't a criticism of Lambert by the way. I'm not sure of Osvaldo's speed, could he be a runner from behind or coming in from the wings?

  18. Me too. What was this about then...
  19. Except you're basing it on pessimism and Morrisey songs
  20. And you're doing the same...
  21. No point discussing it really then is there.
  22. I don't have the inclination to add how much we've spent. Forren/Mayuka - Pretty much disasters. J-Rod - Like him and will be a good player IMO. Over priced, but we've had to pay the premium for young English talent. Ramirez - It looked like a good signing on paper (I believe at the time most people were existed by the prospect and surprised we signed him), but it hasn't worked out (so far). A very frustrating player. Yoshida - I like him too, nothing amazinf but a good solid centre half. This window to sign 3 international players is excellent, but obviously the proof will be in the pudding. So in conclusion, we've been a bit hit and miss, but you're talking like we're clueless. We're not perfect, but I don't think we're that different from a lot of clubs.
  23. You're right it's all a ****ing disaster. They have no idea what they are doing. I mean unlike any other club in the world we've signed some flops.
