  1. I'm glad people research stuff before talking ********. Colchesters last 9 games, against **** easy teams = 12 points, with 6 of those points in the first 3 games in that run (so if using last 6 games, the most common form indicator, they'll finish on 73 points). Did people think about this, or even bother to look it up? I bet not myself.
  2. I can't believe some people on here have Colcheser finishing on 80 points. Ridiculous. Shows the suprisin lack of football knowledge on this site considering it's a football forum.
  3. For anyone thinking that Martin Samuel is being anything other than sarcastic about Lowe, please shut up. They hate each other with a passion. Don't forget that Lowe sued the Times over an article written by Martin Samuel.
  4. Hmmm, I have been slightly worried by Cortese's recent interviews (or is this a re-hash of the January one), as I do think he is being unreasonable. I agre, to an extent, with what Samuel is saying, but I don't agree with the way it has been articulated.
  5. To those who have insisted that the minimum we should expect this season is the playoffs, is this the actual playoffs, or is this the average equivalent of the playoffs (say 75-76 points when the final play-off place could be 82 points). Just wondering how much well you expect AP to do...
  6. There is one main issue with what you've done. The results you've put in are rubbish. No way will this happen, and no way Norwich will finish on 106 points. Stick to the day job.
  7. Fairplay, I did like him though. Real nice guy too. Brian Howard by the way.
  8. Really? Name them then.
  9. Would give him a free ticket s he would happily pay for one. Never struck me as a freeloader. I would make LM pay for one though.
  10. Don't quite get this post. As said on another post, it has been on the cards for a while that Leeds are poor and Millwall will take their place in 2nd. Since Leeds played United in the cup they have been appalling. I would much prefer to play an off form Leeds than an on form Millwall.
  11. Feliciano Condessa went to Villareal didn't he? Jay Lucas was alright as well.
  12. Smug, and in the posh bit. Lush.
  13. Why are some people on this thread struggling to understand a very easy premise. I'm not saying that the players who left are better than the ones we have now, I'm saying that they were better than the players that were left. No-one in the division were shorn of so many of their good players, and thus had to spend less to replace them.
  14. McGoldrick, Surman, Dyer, Rasiak for starters. It's likely they all would have started this season (maybe not Rasiak).
  15. Which one are you then? I'm going to go for the one on the left. And surely it should say "Will b**w 4 food"...
  16. Been speaking to my mate who is a Norwich fan, and I was asking how come they're doing so well when they haven't spent any money. It turns out that they have been spending money, without having their squad decimated in the Summer. And not a bad amount of it either. Just a bit annoyed by people on this site who talk sh!t about how much we've spent, how much others have spent, and how much better they've been doing. If someone else wants to do this for Leeds and Charlton then please do, and then add to the thread. We also started off with a far worse team, after losing a lot of our better players in the summer, so we had to spend to get back on a level playing field. Anyway, that Norwich team for you. Russell Martin - 200k Michael Theoklitos - Free Michael Rose - Loan Jens Berthel Askou - Free Michael Nelson - Free Zak Whitbread - 400k Oli Johnson - £175k Matthew Gill - Free Owain Tudor Jones - £150k Paul McVeigh - Free Anthony McNamee - £275k Grant Holt - £500k = £1.7m Anyway, just saying.

  18. He scored a very similar one at Stoke as well.
  19. Great result. Rickie legend. Can we still make the players. Who knows.
  20. 4 out of 5 people on this forum don't go to Saints matches...
  21. Was this the same 4-5-1 that everyone criticised on this forum as too defensive, and saying we needed to stick 2 strikers up front?
  22. I think the point is we have NEVER been top of the tree. By supporting Southampton, we have accepted mediocrity. That's why I see this season as a good season, as we've won more than we've lost.
  23. Agreed, but he is young and worth a small contract I feel. He has been good enough in enough games that he is worth keeping.
  24. What I find strange is the amount of people here who don't rate Lloyd James. He is a very decent player, who can put in a shift, with a wicked cross and a decent pass. He's been played mainly out of position for the last 2 years, and people don't seem to rate him on the back of this. He is a very good squad player, and mark my words, he will be a decent Championship player.
