Apart from forcing an early corner, we haven't really got into any passing rhythm yet.

Yep. Probably best available starting 11. We'd just better pray we don't get any more injuries in the defensive unit today because that bench doesn't fill me with any confidence in that department... A teenage LB, a midfielder who can fill in at RB, and a completely untested kid from the youth team.
-
People said exactly the same about Harrison Reed. But watching his performances for Fulham this season, and given how weak and lightweight our midfield is, I'd have him back here in a heartbeat. On current form, Tella would be a better option than A Armstrong IMO.

Hold on... the whole fucking point of Brexit, according to every person who campaigned and voted for it, was supposed to be to make Britain 'a better place'. So are you now admitting that it hasn't? Also, if everyone who is unhappy at the situation took your suggestion to fuck off and live elsewhere, and with Braverman in the home office trying to reduce immigration to near zero, what impact do you think that would have on the UK's economy?

I got my new passport through today. It's not blue, it's black. FFS, yet another much anticipated Brexit benefit turns out to be untrue. Was there even a single promise they made that has actually materialised?

And Valery!

I unfollowed him ages ago, so I just had a quick look at his Twitter timeline. I couldn't find this tweet, so either he has deleted it or it is faked. What I did find, however, is evidence that he has well and truly lost the plot now. He's just a useful idiot re-tweeting some of the most desperate, unverified bullshit imaginable, as long as it is directed towards a shared 'enemy'. Seems he has now started turning his attention towards climate change as well, or at least sharing other people's horseshit about it. But he clearly doesn't know or understand the first thing about climate science, he just agrees with anyone who professes to be standing up to the global elites and mainstream media without a single thought towards the validity of their claims, and his unthinking followers love him for it. Very sad to see.

And probably 95% of those bitching on Twitter about it are too young to even know who those two are anyway.

5 mins to go. All the sensible money is on Sunak, but if Penny Dreadful can somehow scrape past the 100 mark, she would probably win the members' vote. If Sunak couldn't beat the hopeless Truss then he doesn't stand a chance against a semi-competent candidate. -
I think it's time to face the facts - Adam is not up to it at PL level. He just looks lost. Despite a good team performance today he made no good contributions. Never knows when to make a run, and doesn't have the quality to make chances for himself. When he did get the ball in a good position on the edge of the Arsenal box, he had no idea what to do and just mis-kicked it straight to a defender. Sorry to say it, because I like his effort, but if he was ever likely to be a success here we would surely have seen at least some sign of it by now.

5 points and undefeated. Honestly, who thought we would manage that?
-
Pleasing to see he reacted to their dominance and made an early tactical change. Once we switched to a back 3/5 we really started to get a foothold in the game. I'm wondering if, like with Puel, Ralph has been forced to try and play more defensively recently due to us failing to sign a striker and/or AM in the summer and missing some key players, but because that is contrary to his normal philosophy it has just taken some time for it to begin to work for him.

Lyanco, no question.

I was literally just about to post this word for word.
-
Was more obvious than the one he gave against Saka.
-
Whatever the result now, this second half performance has been excellent. More of the same please Saints.
-
Only if he'd brought him on earlier 😉
-
Where did that come from!?!?
-
DCC is playing a very risky game with these holding fouls.
-
No better (worse, even) than Shane Long.
-
That shot came from a fluky deflection off a defender. When was the last time that happened in our favour? The difference is a team playing with confidence will anticipate these things and get in positions to capitalise. Whereas we have A Armstrong up front.

Great save Baz!
