Aha! Maybe @Dank meant to post his "SEVEN!!!" comment on this thread but posted it on the transfer window one by mistake.

You know, considering how little interest you love to tell us you have in women's football, you don't half bang on about it a lot.
-
Well as it turned out we had reached the required number of points to stay up by the end of February. But I take your point.
-
Edit: should have read the rest of the thread first.

People who are actually qualified to talk about these subjects, rather than thick as mince ex-footballers. MLT is just another of so many people who believe themselves to be fierce free thinkers fighting the good fight against the dark forces that control the world, but who are actually just gullible idiots who believe everything they read on crackpot conspiracy websites because it fits their narrative and because they lack the intelligence to engage in proper critical thinking. The vast majority of what he comes out with these days is just unfounded, paranoid nonsense cooked up in the minds of delusional people who spend their entire lives online. So although he may occasionally make the odd decent, valid point, they all get lost in the noise of the baseless bullshit. So the danger is that when someone like MLT, who has a public image and a semblance of credibility, uses his platform to disseminate large amounts of false information, a lot of people will take it at face value without bothering to fact / sense check it. And when large numbers of stupid people start believing a load of shit that isn't true, bad things like Donald fucking Trump winning the US presidency can become reality.

And I also don't think Gunn really falls into the 'cast off' category either, just as Bazunu doesn't.

Popped to my local Asda yesterday afternoon and the hot weather had seemingly gone to people's heads because there were loads of them buying boxes and boxes of Carling. I just don't get it. They've got a big selection of decent beers and still people just want to buy the most flavourless, mass marketed piss water they can find.

Don't know a lot about him but this could be a stellar signing. If he can find space by coming deep from the 9 role, he could be a commanding player (potential future captain material?). As long as he doesn't get too defiant and get ideas above his station about being some kind of messiah. Could be a star worth making the trek to SMS for.

Maybe, given the figures quoted when we enquired about Brandon Williams last summer, United are asking for an exorbitant loan fee and we aren't willing to pay it.

Oh I've accepted it alright, in that I fully acknowledge that it has happened and there is nothing now I can do about it. But that doesn't mean I won't continue to point out what a terrible idea it was, especially now that all the problems and downsides of it that we remain voters warned about (which were dismissed as 'project fear' by populist pricks in suits whose only interest in us leaving was their own personal wealth) are coming to fruition. Worth pointing out that there are a handful of contributors on this thread who have never accepted the result of the original referendum to take us in in the first place. And they seem to have gone very quiet now that it's becoming clearer by the day what a total fucking disaster Brexit has been.

This is comically bad from England. I honestly think end of season Saints would have done better out there tonight.
-
Very harshly in fairness. Not even a foul let alone a booking.
-
And now Stones sent off.

Carved open at the back. Again. By Hungary.

Dear me. What a load of turgid shit from England.

The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.

But hang on, haven't the Tories been telling us over and over that we've got the fastest growing economy in the universe recently? They couldn't have ben lying, could they? -
I'm mostly enjoying the Obi-Wan series, but there's a lot of silliness in it. Like when the 3 guys chased young Leia in Ep1 it was a bit like the Keystone Cops.

A very dour first half. Italy looking the more threatening.

I was out at a gig that night and have still never been able to bring myself to watch it.

Or Monica.

With 5 subs allowed next season, having him available to bring on late in a game to pester defenders and draw fouls to take pressure off our defence isn't the worst idea.
-
The fact that it says talks are ongoing suggests to me that we have offered him reduced terms due to his age and likelihood of playing / contributing much. If we had offered him the same terms he would undoubtedly have accepted it already because he's not going to get offered better than that elsewhere, let's face it.

I seem to remember someone putting together a league table based on games finishing on 85 minutes instead of 90+ and it had us staying up quite comfortably.
