  1. Well Leeds are out to 50/1 now, so if you want to get a cheeky insurance bet on in case the worst happens, now is the time.
  2. Scored by a Skate as well.

It's hard to give any credibility to anything this guy says when the article includes such statements as: "I’m no expert on the history of Russia or Ukraine" and "I have no particular expertise in foreign policy" What exactly qualifies you to write stuff like this then fella? 🤔
  4. So it could all come down to GD now then. Shit.
  5. And if they do, it won't be the first time Gerrard will be responsible for a late slip up in a Liverpool title bid.

I see what you did there Nothing suspicious about this at all. Move along.
  7. If you mean Ian Blackford, he caught a train to his home in Skye to isolate himself from his wife who was in a high risk category. "Stay at home" was the message, remember? Not even in the same ball park as organising a party is it. You just don't get it do you. It doesn't matter whether you think the rules should have been introduced or not. Johnson set the rules and wilfully broke them because he didn't think they applied to him, becoming the first ever sitting Prime Minister of this country to be found guilty of a criminal offence, and repeatedly lied to the house about it. You can't get much further into the gutter with morals like that.
  8. But that's exactly my point. They were voted through almost unanimously because they all felt it was necessary. They can't possibly now play it down and say "well the rules were pointless anyway so it doesn't matter". It's not what the specific rules were that matters here, it's the principle. How do you not understand that?
  9. That argument doesn't make any sense. If a Prime Minister presents a set of rules to the nation, goes on air and explains these rules to everyone and why it is critical that everyone follow them, then wilfully breaks them himself on multiple occasions (and claims ignorance, and then lies about it, over and over again) and refuses to resign because some people think the rules were stupid and unnecessary - what message does that send out? Whether or not you agree with the rules being introduced in the first place is completely irrelevant. The fact is they were, and for the man who set and announced them to break them numerous times, claim he didn't even know he had broken them, and then repeatedly lie to the house about it, in any sane society is a resigning matter. The fact that Johnson thinks it's OK for him to carry on shows that he and his cronies have no integrity whatsoever.
  10. And so it begins. Johnson's enablers are already defending the possibility of him staying in post if Starmer resigns. Kit Malthouse said on LBC “Obviously in any situation where, you know, the rules were moving around, there were misunderstandings or mistakes were made, and apologies are made and they are accepted, then people of all walks of life should be able to keep their jobs. But Keir Starmer has to speak for himself and set his own standards.” A more shameless bunch of sycophants you will never find.
  11. Yeah there's no way a Saints team in poor form under RH could ever lose by such a big margin so that definitely won't happen. Oh, hang on...
  12. There we go then. Starmer has announced he will resign if he receives a fine. Gauntlet well and truly thrown down.
  13. Of course he wouldn't. But it would expose him even further as the morally bankrupt charlatan he is.
  14. This. Maybe Starmer getting fined and then resigning would be the biggest possible blow to Johnson and the Tories, because it's obvious to anybody with eyes that his transgression is far less serious. So for them to try and defend keeping Johnson in post after the LOTO has resigned for a similar but less severe breach of rules would be nigh on impossible to do with a straight face. I doubt it will come to that, because I don't actually think he will get fined. But if he does, then how he responds to it will show how integrate he is and whether or not he cares more about his own career than hurting the Tories.
  15. Ok this is a very valid point, but on a much shorter timescale things have clearly 'gone wrong'. Just over 2 months ago we were performing well as a team, getting results and generally looking hard to beat. Since then our performance levels have fallen off a cliff and we look a shadow of the team that went and beat Spurs at their own place and dumped West Ham out of the FA cup. You could certainly argue that the good spell was us over-achieving and that we are now playing at the level we should be, but it's perfectly reasonable to ask why things might have changed so dramatically.
  16. We need Chelsea to beat them on Wednesday. Although, just two wins might be enough for them as we have to play Liverpool so a +15 GD swing isn't outside the realms of possibility.
  17. 10 man Leeds score with their first shot on goal.
  18. For me, the biggest single factor is Romeu's sharp drop in form. During our good spell he was putting in MOTM performances week in week out, which gave us much more control of midfield and provided protection to cover for the failings of our CB pairing. When he plays well, we play well. When he doesn't, we look terrible. As we discovered yesterday though, an out of form Romeu is still a far better option than Diallo, who simply cannot play his role.
  19. I think some/most of the players didn't even know TBH.
  20. Cos they are local away games for me. I can walk to Bramall Lane from my local pub. Even Nottingham is only 40 mins on the train.
  21. He fucking walked through our defence FFS.
  22. Entire defence ball watching as well. Nobody tracking the runners. Jesus Christ! Pinball in our 6 yard box. All stopped and claimed offside when he wasn't.
  23. Jansson just put two hands on the ref to remonstrate with him. No card.
  24. And would that have instantly made Bednarek a better defender? Doesn't matter who the manager is at this stage. The limitations of our squad on current form is the biggest problem.
