  1. I'm trying to think which of this week's no-marks you're referring to. Linda Robson perhaps? Not exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer is she.
  2. And they are still defending the policy on the grounds of ignorance, when literally everyone was telling them it was a terrible idea. Matt Hancock arguing he didn't know enough about the virus so it wasn't his fault. Absolutely fucking despicable.
  3. Rumoured to be going to Arsenal.
  4. Yes it would be hilarious if they found their form only once they can't mathematically make it and miss out by a single point.
  5. Shit! 2-2 now.
  6. Wigan can all but seal the L1 title tonight with a big win against the skates. They're 2-0 up at HT.
  7. Awful for the lad. Wishing him a speedy and successful recovery.
  8. https://www.sportbible.com/football/16yearold-southampton-wonderkid-scores-hattrick-of-identical-goals-20220426 He's made it into Sportbible.
  9. Zaha looks to be on the verge of losing his shit tonight. Leeds need to do a JWP number on him.
  10. All depends what kind of silly money they offer in wages. There are a surprising number of players out there (and I know this from my Sis-in-law's discussions with my nephew's agent) who really don't give a shiny shit where they play or whether or not they will win trophies and/or play in the CL, and are just out for as much money as they can possibly get. If Toon start offering wages that nobody else can match, they will undoubtedly attract some very good players.
  11. That's a bit unfair. Been watching him a lot since he played in the U23s with my nephew and he's got the kind of technical ability than Long can only dream about.
  12. The answer is simple. It wasn't a 'clear' foul and Gordon had already been booked once for diving. He cheated his way to a penalty against Burnley recently by going down far too easily from minimal contact. He's a very talented player but is already building a reputation as a diver.
  13. Anybody still believe Everton are too good to go down?
  14. He set up the first goal with his first touch, and scored the second. He did win it for them.
  15. It's violent conduct. Should be red.
  16. Gordon could have jumped that sliding tackle and got to the ball, but it seems that playing alongside Richarlison is starting to rub off on him and he goes down far too easily.
  17. Yes, the underlying issue is that our squad is of extremely limited quality and the manager is forced to select unreliable players who are prone to brain farts.
  18. I'll take that. Especially after how comically bad we were in the first half. Decent result all things considered. And Burnley have dropped Everton into the relegation places just in time for their trip to Anfield. Delightful.
  19. Brighton doing what we have so often done and come out for the second half like rabbits in headlights. They are there for the taking now.
  20. Indeed. Our good run a few months ago came when he and Salisu were at the top of their games. When they're not, we become so easy to play through.
  21. Absolute fucking shambles.
  22. After 30 mins there's only been one goal so far in the Championship.
  23. When you try to be really careful opening a cereal packet and this happens...
  24. Every time they got a corner, Cork was interfering with play by backing into Forster, but the refs let him get away with it every time. For their second goal, FF might have been able to position himself better if he didn't have to literally push Cork out of the way first. Add to that the obvious foul on JWP while jumping for the header, it was a shitshow all round from the officials. But let's not kid ourselves we would have got anything out of the game even if that goal was disallowed. We were shit all over the pitch and deserved to lose at least 2-0.
