  1. I'll quite happily take a shite, boring 0-0 after last week's horror show.
  2. Quite harshly IMO. It was no more than a 50/50.
  3. Search for soccerstreams100 You might need a VPN for some of the links to work though.
  4. Should have been a goal. Well done Fraser.
  5. Good old BBC 🧐
  6. They were excellent together in a 3 in the cup game at Chelsea
  7. Some very firm tackles flying in from both sides.
  8. So VAR can check for a possible handball but can't tell the ref that it should have been a corner?
  9. Last season it was an injury crisis, primarily with Romeu's absence causing us to lose all control in midfield. This season, everything has gone wrong since Salisu got injured. The first game he was out was the 4-0 away at Villa, and since he returned he's been utter dogshit leading to mass panic in our defence. Add to that Romeu's alarming drop off in form (is he carrying an injury?) and it's a recipe for disaster because our 2-man midfield depends entirely on him playing well. That's it really, and it perfectly highlights the glaring inadequacy of our squad. For Ralph to get thus group of players to perform and get results it requires our entire first 11 to be fit and on form. When 2 key defensive players stop playing to the required level, we don't have anyone in reserve capable of filling their shoes and we become incredibly easy to score against. Ralph should by now be able to recognise this and try to make us more compact when things aren't working rather than sticking with his hung ho attacking style. But even if he did, he would still be forced to play the unfit / out of firm players because of the horrific limitations of the backup options.
  10. Everton have been crap as usual and scored from a lucky deflection. There's still another 45 mins for them to have their obligatory defensive brain fart.
  11. I would guess the thinking is that the full backs will be among the players waiting to pounce and win the second ball, as they are part of 'the press', which Salisu isn't.
  12. Hmmm. I'd better not repeat what I heard about him. Suffice to say, those of us who suggested he wouldn't be a good signing for us were absolutely correct.
  13. All not well in the Everton ranks it seems. Frank is a distant coach and despite what he achieved as a player he doesn't command the respect of the squad because his communication with them is poor. Would be wrong to say he's lost the dressing room because he seemingly never had it in the first place. Most players would have preferred they stuck with Benitez but recognise the toxic atmosphere from the fans made that untenable. None of the senior players bothering to put in extra hours in training. Just finish the required sessions, get in their expensive cars and bugger off. Certain players already mentally checked out cos they know they are leaving in the summer. Not a happy camp.
  14. I think we can find better for less money from abroad.
  15. Just search for Grand Old Team
  16. They might just scrape survival, but it will be more down to luck than quality. At this point, I reckon Burnley are a better bet to stay up.
  17. Nope. As Ducky would say, a team full of son-in-laws. Too many passengers and overpaid lightweights. No identity or cohesion. A few talented individuals but that's not enough for them.
  18. All over. 3-2. Hands up anyone who still thinks Everton are too good to go down?
  19. Oh my. Piss poor defending again from Everton. But it's fine cos Lampard has brought on the prolific Salomon Rondon to save the day.
  20. Chelsea 3-1 down now.
  21. Now THAT was an obvious dive from Cornet.
  22. Yes. His left leg was clearly caught and dragged backwards.
  23. You're probably right, but let's not kid ourselves that Everton have been anything other than crap either. The scoreline flatters them because they've not created any good chances so far.
  24. One of the replay angles shows quite clearly Lennon caught his trailing foot. It was the right call. It's telling that Lennon himself didn't complain too much. He knew he had caught him.
