  1. Wouldn't class that as a sitter.
  2. Yep. Some nice touches and bits of skill so far.
  3. What the hell was JWP thinking when he left that?
  4. Motor News - Stream P2 Probably need a vpn though.
  5. Pretty sure Starmer didn't support Corbyn's leadership bid. So no, it's not the same at all really.
  6. Of course he did. It's obviously far too much to expect any of these snakes to act with any sort of conscience or integrity.
  7. This quote is interesting... A friend of mine told me that the city traders mostly refer to her as 'Dagenham'... because she's a couple of stops past Barking.
  8. Nor will any others. Unsurprisingly, she and the the rest of her party have failed to read the public mood over the issue. When campaign groups like Frack Off get involved to educate local residents of the massive environmental damage it causes (which goes way beyond just the earthquake risk) there is no hope of securing genuine local consent. The only way it might happen will be by bribing local councillors and planning authorities to vote in favour, but even then the campaign groups will be able to get any plans held up long enough for this shambolic shower of a government to be voted out and for a new Labour / coalition government to reinstate the moratorium anyway.
  9. is it too late to choose chaos with Ed Miliband?

I'm sure he would if the priest had used a holy hand grenade instead.
  11. He's been subpoenad to give evidence. He won't, of course. But the committee thinks there is already sufficient evidence to make criminal referrals.

You've never actually read the UN report have you. https://ukraine.un.org/sites/default/files/2021-10/Conflict-related civilian casualties as of 30 September 2021 (rev 8 Oct 2021) EN.pdf During the entire conflict period, from 14 April 2014 to 30 September 2021, OHCHR recorded a total of 3,095 conflict-related civilian deaths (1,841 men, 1,065 women, 102 boys, 50 girls, and 37 adults whose sex is unknown). Taking into account the 298 deaths on board Malaysian Airlines flight MH17 on 17 July 2014, the total death toll of the conflict on civilians has reached at least 3,393. The number of injured civilians is estimated to exceed 7,000. That's just under 4,000 civilian casualties over 7 years in a conflict that began with Russia arming and supporting the separatists. But yeah, you carry on swallowing Putin's propaganda and blame it all on Ukraine.
  13. Latest hearing about the January 6th attack is live now. Pretty damming stuff. The net is closing in.
  14. I wouldn't say that our form and performances since the start of this year even qualify as 'mediocre'.
  15. Good points, but we have to try something. We're never going to win anything with JWP and Diallo as our CM pair in a 4222. I am completely baffled why Ralph keeps persisting with it.
  16. He couldn't possibly be any less effective in that role than Diallo could he? At least he would provide some sort of physical presence in midfield that we are sorely lacking.

If you're so certain of this then would you be so good as to share your sources with us? Cheers.
  18. Cosimo Sarli. Scored a ridiculous amount of goals for the reserves but never made a first team appearance.
  19. His non-performance in the FA Cup semi final against Chelsea was inexcusable.
  20. Yep. My wife said she was going to take our daughter to a shop yesterday to buy yet more pointless plastic tat to decorate our window with (we already have a bag full of it from last year). Despite my protests that 3 weeks before Halloween is far too early to be doing that, she just ignored me and they did it anyway, covering the living room window in pointless crap while I watched the football.
  21. This is it. Our poor results against teams around us over the last couple of years have been (almost) excused by our surprising ability to compete with the top teams. At times anyway. Look at our 0-0 at the Etihad last season. It was a superb effort with every single player putting in a fantastic shift and working hard for each other to defend as a unit from front to back. Now compare that to today's performance. You'd never believe it was the same team. There was no belief, no cohesion, and pitifully little fight. I just don't see Ralph turning this around, unfortunately.
  22. We need to talk about the elephant in the room here. The form of our golden boy captain has been absolutely woeful this season. I'm struggling to think of any decent contributions he has made recently. Looks lost without Romeu next to him in CM.
  23. Get in a new manager who is capable of at least getting us putting in more effort and playing well enough defensively to manage a clean sheet or two. That will keep our heads above water until January when we can go all out and splash the £30m we were allegedly prepared to shell out for Gakpo on a competent striker. Do that and we might - might - just have a chance of staying up this season.
