  1. Goal of the season. No contest.
  2. Boro, Ipswich and Millwall have all dropped points in the lunchtime games. A win here would close us up a bit on all of them.
  3. Off the top of my head... Stoke home Watford away Hull home Oxford away All games where we basically gifted goals to the opposition because of Baz being so fucking hopeless. It's impossible to say how differently those games would have panned out otherwise, of course. But it's not unreasonable to suggest that we might have got a fair few more points from them if our keeper had been even semi competent for this level.
  4. Blatant dive. Ref should have booked him.
  5. Isn't he still injured though?
  6. Death finally plucked up the courage to take him then. RIP Chuck.
  7. All that happened immediately before that was a bit of jostling for position. Edozie got himself ahead of Stacey completely fairly and was favourite to get to the ball first. Stacey just made sure he didn't, and knew exactly what he was doing. More of a clear penalty than the one we conceded at Cov IMO.
  8. The defender had hold of his arm and literally pulled him to the ground to stop him from getting the ball. VAR would 100% have given that.
  9. He really was. He had no authority at all and failed to take control of situations. There were three bad challenges in the first 15 minutes, one of which was an obviously cynical pull on Edozie to prevent a breakaway which is as obvious a booking as you'll ever see, but he let them get away with murder. Edozie then got pulled by the arm and bundled over in the box - no penalty. Again, a totally blatant foul but nothing given. Then his failure to produce a card for that moment early in the second half was just bizarre. And in the interests of balance, I do also think that Downes could/should have walked when in the second half he fouled their player then reacted badly and pushed him. Ordinarily I'd have had no complaints if he'd got sent off for that, but because of everything that he had let Norwich get away with prior to that he knew he just couldn't. It was as weak and inept a refereeing display as you will ever see at this level.
  10. Wrexham's trip to Bramall Lane is far from an easy game. Can see them dropping points there. Then they've got two more tricky aways at WBA and Birmingham with our game at theirs sandwiched in between. That's a tough run for them which could make or break their playoff bid.
  11. It's no surprise to me really. Even in the darkest times of last season's horror show, he was consistently our best player when he was in the pitch. He's one of those players in the mould of Paul Telfer who never seems to let the occasion get the better of him and will always give you a solid 7/10 performance no matter what.

Reckon that was his best game for us yet tonight, although I didn't get to watch the Cov game on Saturday and by all accounts he was very good then too.
  13. I can't wait for Pingpong to come along and tell us how Peretz got really lucky tonight.
  14. I haven't seen refereeing that dodgy since Escape to Victory.
  15. Wow. What a massive 3 points that is. I think I love Daniel Peretz. Shame he won't be with us next season. Wasn't pretty but I'll take shit-housing our way to a 1-0 at this point. Hull, we're coming for you.
  16. I think Adam Blackmore is going to burst a blood vessel!
  17. Well we definitely won't whatever because we've already used 5 subs.
  18. There's not even been any injuries FFS.
  19. Matsuki has put in a proper shift tonight.
  20. That's not a foul FFS. Ref has bought that.
  21. Get your insurance bets on now.
  22. That's a cheap booking for THB.
