In recent games, when we've been defending a lead late in the game, we've seen opposition teams put us under intense pressure trying to equalise. But that's too obvious for us, we're just pissing around at the back instead.

So yeah, it was a clear handball. But that doesn't excuse just how fucking inept and shambolic our defending was. Wouldn't it be nice if, just once, a footballer could show the kind of sportsmanship you see in Snooker when a player will self-declare fouls that the ref didn't spot.

So we are still doing our thing of not turning up for the second half then. Only difference this time being we didn't score any in the first.

The time to do that was in August. Four months and a change of manager later and it's still causing us nothing but problems.

It's clear what we are missing now with Fellows injured. In recent games we have been using a repeated tactic of passing it around along the back line, out to THB on the right, and then Fellows comes infield and we hit the low pass into the centre for him to turn and run forward. Been doing it loads and it's worked well and resulted in goals. We just don't have that option today, but the rest of the team still keep passing it to THB in the expectation that he can still do the same thing with it, which he can't. So we end up passing it to Fraser, who just knocks it back again under pressure and we struggle like hell to get out, because the formation means we have so little midfield presence. I really, really wish that we could just drop this fucking 3 CBs nonsense.

He's a busted flush. Not providing any attacking threat down our right and just constantly passing the ball backwards THB is basically playing as a RB anyway, so moving to a back 4 and putting JRob on in place of Fraser won't make a huge change to our shape but would give us so much more threat on that side.

Perfectly timed. Would have been in big trouble otherwise.

That was fucking wank. Passed it around our own box for ages, eventually knocked it forward and gave it straight back, then they carve us open and should have scored. As bas as it ever was under RM.
