  1. Yeah I clocked that too. Either it's a schoolboy error from the BBC lacky who typed it up, or Lawro is going senile.
  2. Darren Anderton.
  3. Sheffield United have announced plans to expand their ground to 38K capacity... https://www.thestar.co.uk/our-towns-and-cities/sheffield/video-sheffield-united-unveil-plans-to-boost-bramall-lane-capacity-to-38-000-1-8898771
  4. Got to be Kevin Friend, surely?
  5. Yeah this is the key with Austin. If you look at not just the goals he has scored in recent games but the chances he has had, when he gets a sniff of a possible chance coming he know instinctively how to move quickly into a pocket of space to receive a cross or cutback. Look at the Bournemouth goal for instance... The defender was tracking him but when the ball goes out to Redmond, Charlie just steps back a little to make that room to receive what only needed to be a simple ball from Nathan in the end. He makes it look so easy.
  6. Dunno. Remember the penalty that was given against us at Arsenal a few years back for a tiny little shirt pull that didn't in any way stop the player getting to the ball (Might have been Hooiveld?) You just knew it wouldn't have been given at the other end.
  7. The quote from Steve Claridge on the BBC sums it up for me. What if one of those players who shouldn't have been on the pitch went on to score a winning goal and Spurs had taken the title? The Leicester fans would have been rightly p!ssed, and you can bet that Clottenburg would never have made this admission if that had been the case.
  8. The stupidity here is that he believes Spurs would have blamed him for costing them the title if he had dished out a couple of red cards. But the only people who would have borne the responsibility of that would be the players themselves who collectively lost their heads on the night. If he had applied the rules correctly there could have been no complaints at all.
  9. It's the referee's job to apply the rules fairly and correctly, regardless of which teams are playing and what is at stake, not to have a 'game plan' before a match begins. What a pr!ck.
  10. Who is suggesting that?
  11. Yeah I don't think he got it right today. Having seen both Hoj and Lemina play well in the last two games, he reverts to a CDM pairing that we know doesn't work very well with Davis. It's taken him almost half a season to work out that Redmond and Tadic are more effective when you play them on their preferred sides. This constantly rotating Hoedt and Yoshi is just insane. It's obvious that Yoshida is the better player so why keep leaving him out? Hoedt cost us badly today. Realistically, we should have beaten Bournemouth today. But due to setting up all wrong from the start we gave them the whole first half and were lucky to be only 1-0 down at the break. Two decent performances in the last week, and the manager learns nothing from them. Poor stuff really.
  12. Had chances to win it in the second half, but then we were lucky to be only 1-0 down at HT, so I guess a draw is a fair result in the end.
  13. Probably because there was a sub during stoppage time.
  14. I'm really not sure what he was attempting there. Should have leathered it.
  15. Once again, Forster palms a save straight at an opposition player. Just pure luck that he got away with it this time.
  16. Amazing that it has taken Pellegrino almost half the season to work that out isn't it.
  17. Looking so much better now. Really got them on the ropes. Have to find the knockout punch though.
  18. Great chance to take the lead there. Bertie should have just knocked it to Austin for a tap-in.
  19. Great goal from Austin. The only player in our whole squad capable of that kind of positional sense and finishing. Props to Redmond for the assist as well.
  20. Finally a sustained bit of pressure on their defence. It's taken an hour of play for us to manage, mind.
  21. He's still the man most likely to make something happen for us.
  22. Not looking great, and it seems that Pellegrino has learned nothing from the last two performances. We're dithering too much and not really causing Bournemouth any problems. Tadic his usual useless self. Boufal is at least trying to make things happen but perhaps needs to calm down a bit. Austin not had any service and won't create anything himself, so I would maybe swap him for Gabbi at HT. Need to make some changes, that's for sure. We'll get nothing if we stick with the same setup as in the first half.
  23. Been coming
  24. Hahaha! Could have been given because Boufal obviously didn't play the ball, but the dive was soooo obvious.
