  1. Anybody found any half decent free streams?
  2. Looks like the chickens are finally coming home to roost on planet Donald then. Flynn accepting a plea bargain and agreeing to testify against Trump and his family by all accounts. This would be great TV drama if it wasn't so horrifyingly real.
  3. Straight out of the Arsene Wenger school of fence-sitting that is.
  4. You must have been watching a different game from me then. What I saw was a hesitant player who consistently gave away possession when trying to make simple forward passes and put our defence under pressure on numerous occasions with some awful backward passes. The only contribution I remember him making in an attacking sense was his involvement in the move that led to Lemina bursting into the box, but even that only came about because Redmond's attempted through-ball got a lucky ricochet off a defender. And don't get me started on how he criminally ducked out of the way of the FK that led to their first goal. He was supposed to be the one-man wall and he made no attempt to even jump, let alone get his head to the ball. That's unforgivable IMO. None of these things have anything to do with how he was instructed to play.
  5. So Redmond's excuse for being so utter sh!te on Wednesday is that he was instructed to play that badly by his manager? Utter, utter b*llocks.
  6. I was showing this to a work colleague on YouTube the other day. We concluded that poor Oscar couldn't make up his mind to go for the ball with his left foot, his right foot or his head, and he ended up trying to play it with all three simultaneously.
  7. £50bn (at least) to get us out of the biggest free trading block in the world, just so that we can go on to try and negotiate a deal that will allow us to retain as much access to that market as we can get, but on vastly inferior terms. And all so that we can regain the sovereignty we never actually lost, give an imaginary £350m a week to the NHS, and not have to put up with listening to people speaking Polish on public transport. Wonderful
  8. Of the midfield central 3, Lemina was usually the furthest forward with PEH and Romeu sitting deeper. Hoj had a pretty decent game IMO, and between him and OR they broke up a lot of City attacks.
  9. Yes, I see that now. Although I'm not convinced that's the right setup in a game that we should realistically expect to be winning. And I'm not convinced about JWP's suitability for the RWB role. He's not really quick enough to get up and down the line that much, and would leave Yoshida quite exposed as the RCB.
  10. It was the same on MOTD2 on sunday night. Apart from a brief mention for Charlie Austin's ability to find space in the box, all the discussion was about how bad Everton were. Although, perhaps that was inevitable given the fact that both the studio pundits were ex-Everton players.
  11. Please not Yoshida at RB. He was an absolute disaster when Koeman played him there. I've not seen enough of Pied to make a sound judgement but he surely has to be a better option.
  12. He can be, as we have seen flashes of it in the past. But only so much of his overall performance last night can be attributed to how he was instructed to play by the manager. There are so many aspects of it which can't. Constantly dithering on the ball and allowing defenders to regroup Consistently failing to beat the first defender with a forward pass Putting his team-mates in trouble on numerous occasions with over/under hit sideways and backwards passes Standing on the edge of the box watching instead of making himself available for a cut-back when Lemina burst through (he was unmarked FFS) Ducking out of the way of a FK when he was supposed to be the one-man defensive wall None of these things can be excused by the manager's tactics and instructions.
  13. But that only applies to games that are already televised by Sky. I think what Saint Clark was alluding to is making every game available on a PPV basis. People living in Canada and Thailand for instance can legally watch any EPL game they choose on a saturday afternoon, yet the actual fans of those clubs can't. It's a f*cked up situation.
  14. Well she has, but only in the softest possible terms... www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-42172032
  15. It doesn't bode well when the opposition manager is giving him the rocket up his a*se that he should be getting from his own manager. MP doesn't come across as somebody who is that passionate.
  16. Right, now that I've calmed down a bit, I'll make some proper comments on the game... First off, big props to MP for the way he set the team up tonight. The shape worked well and we managed to contain City for the most part. They had a few chances, granted, but they didn't at any point look like they would carve us open the way they have done to other teams this season. Positives... Back 3 looked composed and comfortable with the formation Lemina back in CM is a massive bhoost as he is probably our best player Hoj put in another decent shift and showed he can play OK against better opposition than he did on Sunday Forster had a decent game and made a few good saves. Nothing spectacular, but at least he didn't let in anything that he shouldn't have. Negatives... Poor finishing again. we had three free headers from set pieces and couldn't hit the target with any of them. Redmond. Just what does he offer the team? I'm baffled how he keeps getting picked. He was just so abysmally bad again tonight. No skill, no intelligence with the ball to play in others, and criminally ducked out of the way of the FK for their first goal when he was supposed to be the defensive wall. And to top it all off he is a moany little pr*ck as well. How the hell did he manage to pass our character test when we signed him? I would be happy to never see him play in a Saints shirt again.
  17. Absolutely sickening. The lads played really well tonight to keep Man City at bay and fully deserved a draw. Can't fault the quality of the finish from Sterling and Forster (who actually had a decent game tonight) couldn't do anything about it. But 6 mins added time? Really? Cedric was down for maybe a minute at most, so where the hell did that come from? It's like a sucker punch.
  18. Yep. Time of the goal was well over the 5 minutes added on, and I can't for the life of me work out why we had that much added time anyway.
  19. That is f*cking sickening.
  20. Heart in mouth moment. My stream is about 1:20 behind it seems and Bet365 just flashed up to tell me Man City had scored, but quickly retracted it. And as I type that, they really do score this time
  21. 5 mins added time? Where the f*ck has that come from!?
  22. Would have kept Hoj on and swapped Boufal for Redmond myself. But hey-ho.
  23. 3 good chances we have wasted from set pieces now.
  24. Wrong move IMO. Hoj is doing well in there, this will weaken our midfield.
  25. He never does when he's got Redmond in front of him. He knows that anything he does will be futile because NR will f*ck it up anyway.
