  1. Villa 0-1 Brighton.
  2. Bennett Injured. Early forced change in the Wolves defence. Might work in our favour. Yes, I'm clutching at straws.
  3. I've never had to register for it. Make sure you're clicking on the right video, because the one at the top is a false link. You have to scroll down to the next one.
  4. Stupid, stupid challenge from Valery. Reminiscent of his over-eagerness in his first few games for us.
  5. https://www.eplsite.uk/stream20.html
  6. Can only really echo what's already been said. Too many underperforming players guaranteed to start week after week, with no decent competition for their places. Lessons seemingly not learned by Ralph. It's worrying. I predict we will huff and puff a bit, recycle the ball a lot with no end product or penetration, maybe score a goal from a lucky penalty or a bad mistake, but concede at least two due to being overrun in midfield and people not tracking the runners. Then Ralph will leave it far too late to make any changes again, and Wolves will score another late on to seal the points. It's all too depressingly inevitable. In fact, I don't think I'll even bother trying to find a stream for the game. It will only put me in a bad mood.
  7. The problem with that, as the last 3 and a half years have shown, is that it doesn't matter how good or bad the deal actually is, because there is a very large section of British society who will vote for it no matter what if that is the only option to actually leave. It could include a clause requiring all British people to hand over their first born sons to the EU for scientific experiments or something equally horrific as part of the severance deal, and a huge number of ignorant c*nts would still rather vote for it than remain.
  8. Remember David Cameron's scaremongering in the 2015 election campaign when he warned people not to vote for Labour as they would end up being ruled by the SNP?
  9. Don't forget that Johnson had previously said that no British government ever could or should enact anything that put an effective border in the Irish Sea, and he hated May's deal so much he resigned from the cabinet over it. So forgive me if I'm a little skeptical that this 'fantastic' new deal is actually great for the country. Johnson doesn't give a shiny sh!t. He's only interested in being seen to be the man that delivered Brexit. The details and the consequences are of no importance to him.
  10. Yep. And it's a bill that will provide us with pretty much exactly the same environmental protections that we are bound to as a member of the EU anyway.
  11. If we're going for comparisons from that era then he's probably more like Ian Andrews than Tim Flowers at the moment.
  12. I was referring more to Aintforever's first line, about change not happening quickly enough. But to answer your question, do you think we should hold a referendum on whether or not to take urgent action on climate? Reading some of the ignorant, deluded boll*cks people spout on Twitter about it, I would be horrified if we did that. Personally, I'm happy to put my trust in the research and the consensus of the global climate science community, and would be very happy if we had a government who actually listened to expert advice on these matters. But we don't. We have a PM who takes most of his advice from Dominic Cummings instead - a man who is possibly about to have his Commons security pass taken away due to being found in contempt of parliament earlier this year. So much for democracy, eh?
  13. Case in point: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-49960817 This is precisely why drastic action such as that being carried out by XR is necessary. Governments and industry simply cannot be trusted to act in urgency otherwise.
  14. Given that there is no actual leader of the group, I doubt that somewhat. It's interesting that you are criticising their methods as being ineffective, but their actions have prompted you to start a thread on an internet forum which in turn has sparked an interesting discussion on the subject. I would say that means their campaign has been successful
  15. If he was expecting Bednarek to head it back to him then why on earth would he decide to rush right out to the edge of his box like that? If a keeper comes that far off his line, he has to be absolutely confident of getting the ball. I do take your point about not letting the ball bounce though. It was a terrible miscommunication between the two players, and the fault lies equally with them both.
  16. No it was definitely Palace I was thinking of. I don't remember the Villa one though.
  17. Didn't Forster do something similar away at Palace a few years back?
  18. Are you forgetting about Shane 'Forrest Gump' Long?

    Ross Wilson

One of the most prized talent spotters in British football? Have they actually seen his transfer record FFS?
  20. This does not surprise me in the slightest. There were very clear warnings that the Gao takeover was not a good thing for the club. If she is taking legal action against him then it perhaps shows that she had more concern for the future of the club than many have given her credit for, but it's disappointing she couldn't see / didn't heed the warnings. Will be very interesting to see how this plays out. But when the team is performing as poorly as it is, a boardroom battle is the very last thing we need.
  21. Aside from the baffling defensive lineups, the biggest problem I can see is that the players who seemed to instantly improve after Ralph's arrival last season all appear to have regressed badly to their old selves. Redmond, JWP, Hoj, Bednarek - they all seem to be playing well below what we know they are capable of. Manager has to take a large slice of the responsibility for that IMO. The only players who have really given a decent account of themselves so far this season are Romeu, Ings and Djenepo in his brief appearances (bloody typical that as soon as we unearth a player who looks like he might actually be a PL quality attacker, he gets himself injured straight away). Everyone else has been sub par.
  22. No positives to take from that. Not one. Chelsea thrashed us without even having to break sweat. Pathetic.
  23. He's got to roll the dice and try something though. We clearly won't get back in this game with things as they are.
  24. I would love to know what Long has done in training to convince Ralph he was worthy of a start today. Baffling really.
  25. What's happened to the Nathan Redmond who won POTS a few months ago? He's regressed badly this season. In fact, all the players who improved after Ralph came in seem to have gone backwards this season. Particularly JWP.
