  1. Just looking at the PL table today and it's incredibly tight down there in the bottom half. Just 6 points separating all ten teams in bottom half with just over a third of the season left. When Stoke kicked off this afternoon they were in the relegation zone but their win against Man Utd lifted them 7 places up to 11th. Even Villa directly beneath us aren't out of it IMO, as they are only 5 points above 18th and a poor run of form could see them drop rapidly. Unless their new signings can make a huge difference I think Fulham will go down. Probably the worst team we have played this season over both games. And Cardiff will probably join them I reckon, given their ability to ship goals and the upheaval they have experienced so far. As for the final place? Pick any one from Stoke, Swansea, Hull, Sunderland, Norwich, Palace, West Brom or West Ham because not one of them is really that much better than the others at the moment to make you believe they will survive. And before you bother to say it Dalek, I think we can safely say that Saints are definitely not sleepwalking to relegation this year.
  2. Very harshly though. It was obviously a foul but never worth a yellow. Neither was Morgan's.
  3. Not only that, he has already started the Stoke build-up thread - less than 5 minutes after the FT whistle. What an exciting life he must lead.
  4. Excellent result in the end after a dire first half where a couple of great saves from Boruc kept us from going behind. Could have been a very different story if he hadn't. The turning point IMO was bringing on Cork for Wanyama at HT. What a difference that made to our shape and effectiveness in midfield. VW is going to have to work very hard to earn back his place in the side. Maya had a great game at the back, although Fulham didn't really have much about them to seriously trouble him. I was very worried when we lost Lovren to injury but he and Fonte appear to have things under control at the moment. 3 very well taken goals with J-Rod's the pick of the bunch, but good to see all our English players combining, especially with Hodgson watching in the stands. All in all, a very happy Bexy right now, considering how it was looking at HT.
  5. Not bothered. I doubt we will catch them and it keeps an 8-point gap between us and Villa.
  6. So much for Fulham's 'strengthening' eh Delldays?
  7. Saints fans sounding in fine voice today.
  8. Just before you posted that I was starting to wonder if it was time to "wheel out the big nuns"
  9. That is a f*cking peach of a goal that is.
  10. Do you have this on your clipboard all afternoon ready to paste at a second's notice?
  11. Rickie Lambert you beauty!!!!!!!
  12. No it hasn't
  13. If Lambert had managed to stay on his feet then it would have been the easiest chance to score he will ever get.
  14. Decent effort from Lallana there. Probably our best attempt so far.
  15. Clyne coming on Chambers limping off. It's good we have such strong competition in that position.
  16. You could just put him on ignore and stop quoting him so that the rest of us don't have to see his tedious bullsh*t.
  17. Neither of them were exactly sitters. Give the guy a break.
  18. Nobody is turning on anybody FFS. Wanyama has been out for 2 months and looks rusty. He doesn't have his usual physical presence in CM and is now in a yellow which will restrict his usefulness further. Cork has been in excellent form recently so making that switch seems like a no-brainer.
  19. Great. Both our CMs on a yellow for innocuous looking fouls. Nice one ref.
  20. Good save again from Boruc!
  21. Fonte crossing to Yoshida. WTF!?
  22. Yep. Harsh booking that.
  23. 73% possession so far according to BBC.
  24. Just a little confused why the Beeb have chosen an action shot of a player who has now left us under controversial circumstances as the preview photo for this game... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25892225
