Great stuff yet again. Thought we might struggle today against a well-drilled side, but our first half performance would have had any opposition rocking. They switched to a flat back four after the break and showed a bit more quality but still only managed a goal thanks to a horrific mistake from Wanyama. Great subs from MP though to put us back in control. Lallana MOTM for me. Simply unplayable today. If he can do the same again for England next week then he will have booked his ticket to Brazil.

J-Rod played really well. Not got a goal but caused all kinds of trouble with his direct running. Osvaldo has put himself about since coming on but not really had a sniff of goal so far.

No they haven't, which makes today's performance from us even more special.

Hull have looked half decent since they got promoted, but today they are receiving a proper footballing lesson. Just following on from where we left off against Fulham - total composure on the ball and maximum workrate when we lose it. In years gone by we would still be nervous even when leading 3-0 because we all knew there was a good chance we would f**k it up, but not this team. Good times indeed.

That was simply outstanding from Lallana. What an amazing time to be a Saints fan it is at the moment. We are completely irresistible.

JWP's deliveries are just getting better and better. At first I thought the comparisons with David Beckham were a bit OTT but the way he's playing at the moment they are starting to look well justified.
