Damnit, I'm 18 and go with my almost 50 year old dad. This kind of stuff is really sad. RIP.

The highlights are somewhere on the internet, specifically youtube... greatest game I have seen live in my life.

Superb goal if I remember correctly. Low drilled curving shot into the corner of the net?

And so was Egypt. Hundreds have died.

That's the guy! Looking at wikipedia, it rather looks like his career fell to pieces after he left us.

Though we should not forget the Tunisian revolution that set it all off, even if it doesn't have the international significance this revolution has.

Sometimes he just left the ball behind, but other times he produced sheer brilliance. A hell of a lot of skill. Loved it. Wonder what he is up to these days.

Fabrice Fernandes... now there was a player.

I'm very proud of the Egyptians and it is extremely interesting. I would say more interesting than almost all recent revolutions. This is because it is a genuine people's revolution. No other motives involved.

I liked him. Disappeared quickly though :/

Egypt is traditionally the trend setter in the middle east so what happens there affects a whole region and in this interconnected globalised world affects us. Any change in the middle east could have significant effects on us.

Cortese clarifies the current position (Daily Telegraph)
Saintandy666 replied to trousers's topic in The Saints
Cortese will not run away for 3 reasons. 1. He promised his friend, Markus Liebherr. 2. He has a reputation to build on the back of this. If he does this well, who knows what the future holds for him? 3. He probably relishes the challenge like all businessmen. -
Can not stand this at all. It has gone too far now, especially in many lessons at my college where debate is stifled and frankly sterile at times. It just ****es me off how everyone gets offended at everything non-stop, so ****ing what? I firmly believe that you should be able to say pretty much anything you want. The truth hurts, and if what they person says is bad then banning them is not the way to solve it. The way to tackle bad ideas is by critiquing and ridiculing them until the whole idea looks stupid.

I don't see why bullying is an issue? Most kids will get bullied for something during their life, homosexual parents or not. I certainly know within my circles it wouldn't be an issue and it never would be an issue(most children/teens these days don't give a ****, the big discriminatory divide is over class, not race or sexuality). But obviously, no-one can account for everyone, but that attitude is dull because then we'd all be the same.
-
Do not see the issues, sex doesn't matter, quality of upbringing does. I know plenty of people who have been brought up in single parent households and have been just fine.

So, I was watching the super bowl last night and I have to say my impressions WERE NOT good. Why is it they play for about 2 minutes, and then rest for 3? :/ It makes it all very dull and ****.

Cameron has a point and I don't think we should dismiss everything he says just because he is David Cameron. Multiculturalism has failed in many ways and many places, beyond what I can witness living where I do in a largely white british middle class town. The key isn't forcing people to 'integrate' because then you don't have multi-cultures, you just have one. The key is understanding and acceptance and the stopping of this closed community bullcrap. Then again, I guess it can sometimes be difficult for people with different perspectives on life to build up friendships and when this turns into ignorance is when the danger comes. I disagree with Cameron on Religion and Politics being separate because too often, they do overlap. Religion should be private, Politics is public. We should also not think that religion is culture because it isn't, it's one component of it.

4-0. Oh dear.

I personally imagine teaching college students to be better, as everyone is a bit more developed mentally and everyone opted to be there. Year 7's and 8's are lil ****s.

Well, I told my girlfriend I wouldn't be doing any of this Valentines Day bull****. Apparently though, that means the world is crumbling down around us. After a ****load of pressure from her friends that I simply MUST do something for her, I guess I'll just take her out for the night, but it won't be any different or special than anything else we ever do! I hate the way it's always the man who has to do it all.

Most religious texts have ridiculous things written in them.

In terms of active members, that has grown quite a lot of the past month of so.
