  1. You clearly have no idea about how the Raj is taught in the education system today. There isn't any bias, they present the main events and even do a section on the benefits that Britain bought to India. However, it is just a fact that indefinitely taking over another country and suppressing its peoples is fundamentally wrong.
  2. Up until the crash, our debt and deficit was lower than when labour came to power. Labour did not chronically overspend for 13 years.
  3. To be fair, up until the crash, our debt and deficit were lower than when Labour came to power.
  4. I only turned 18 in december, so could not vote in the previous election. However, I did support the Lib Dems and for example at the electon count at my constituency I had a Lib Dem rosette and was with the Lib Dems so if I could have voted it would have been Liberal Democrat. Labour are probably not quite ready for government at the moment, as it seems to be the case for a few years after a party is kicked out. I don't mind the coalition, as I believe it to be better than the alternative which would have been a Tory minority government or a Tory majority government(after parliament had collapsed due to there being no stable government), both reliant and held to ransom by the Conservative 'Far Right'. I'm much happier with the current arrangement where by they can be ignored and a more centrist agenda be followed. The more seats the Lib Dems have the greater their influence, so I would most likely vote Liberal Democrat to help achieve this.
  5. Some of the passing today was atrocious. Main culprits: Richardson, Dickson and Puncheon.
  6. Pretty **** game to watch after the last few. Notts County are a physical and organised side who are clearly rising up the table and fast. We did miss Lallana, but I don't think it was terminal as we could have won that game, but in the end it just was not to be. Neither side ever really emerged quite on top for a long period of time.
  7. It would be extremely difficult as in my area there would probably only be UKIP, Con, Lab, Lib Dem. I'd probably end up voting Liberal Democrat, albeit with reservations.
  8. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/education-12171281 To be fair to Michael Gove, he is a ****.
  9. Never really got into Saintslist... it seemed like a very pleasant place though. Herbie Taylor is clearly a legend.
  10. I don't see the logic behind this privatisation. I don't think the coastguard should be run as a business for profit, it's just wrong.
  11. £144,000 is still more than enough money to get by on.
  12. That Telegraph article is littered with basic errors. For example 'Nigel Atkins'.
  13. I'm also probably right.
  14. Because only Cameron and ''his chums'' would cut the state as much as they are going to when actually it is not needed! http://www.statistics.gov.uk/cci/nugget.asp?id=206 Our massive deficit only appeared when the credit crunch began because Labour decided to spend through it rather than let people suffer. The idea that Labour were irresponsible with money for 13 years is a fallacy. We don't need to cut as much as we are doing at present, as the economy will grow and the stimulation will no longer be needed. Half of the cuts the Tories are doing are ideological, not necessary.
  15. Good spot!
  16. In a few years time as the election looms Cameron and his chums will sell the banks for billions. We will suddenly have an influx of 'unexpected money'. The ideological shrinking of the state will be complete and he will offer tax cuts.
  17. That article presents him as full of himself. I don't really believe the Mail though on anything.
  18. Gave them back to back promotions last time.
  19. To be fair for him, Cameron couldn't answer his questions today. I think you don't give him enough credit.
  20. I don't think he would have wanted it.
  21. Ahhh yes, the Guly 'top drawer' interview. He said top drawer a ridiculous amount of times!!!!
  22. Won't be the same if we return to the Premiership. The Championship and League 1 are in my opinion much more exciting leagues to be in.
  23. Peterborough are on a roll at the moment, only 4 points behind us with a game in hand. Don't underestimate them. Also, Darren Ferguson may be back in place by then providing an extra boost for them. I have been watching them warily over the past month or so though.
  24. I think any worries people had about the large amount of away games at the type of grounds that we have struggled on this season and last have been dispelled over the last few weeks. Well done Adkins, well done Saints
  25. Well, it looks like the team read this forum On attackers, I'm not sure whether we need to bring in another striker once Connolly goes, I think in our youth we have enough decent strikers to bring through. I'd be happy in this window now if we just signed Guly. If we loose Guly we need to look at getting someone else in.
