  1. I trust NC to get us to the premiership and run us tightly. Not only will he want to do it for Markus, but more importantly his reputation is on the line here. In Cortese we trust.
  2. By the sounds of it then, they both should have come into some sort of punishment, though he should have kept his cool as the stronger person. I hope it isn't prison or anything like that though as the punishment. Prison seems like such a waste of time for cases like these.
  3. The problem is proof unfortunately, did she admit starting on him first? They are always likely to automatically suspect the man(sometimes)... does he have any previous history? I guess also her injury was more severe, but she would have probably been more fragile. Also, he probably should have just taken it if it was just a bit of a mark. I don't know what to say without knowing the case better from a neutral viewpoint.
  4. Well, it's only AS for me, but I got AAABB. Needed an A in chemistry really though and dropped 2 marks short, but I guess I can always retake that module to squeeze it up. Either way, very happy at the moment.
  5. Education standards are up.
  6. **** that ****, I'm just going to go and get them, no hassle. Open them straight away, and then maybe leave the mum hanging for a while just for the lulz.
  7. My mum seems to be doing most of the 'nervousness' for me. I am feeling it a bit today though, but I guess you can't change what's done.
  8. I suppose it is quick and easy dosh, but it is not something I would do myself. You just don't know what you are putting in your body and whether that could cause long term harm. I know they have always done loads of testing before getting to this stage, but as shown in that story you mentioned a few years ago, there's always the chance it could go wrong. It's sort of like going and getting some drugs, you just don't know what you are actually taking half the time. Someone has to do it though.
  9. Ok, how is his premiership a total disaster...
  10. Nope, many things went wrong during Blairs years, and I will be the first to admit there were mistakes. However, you can hardly call his premiership a total disaster.
  11. Got any proof or this or is it your usual non-stop bullcrap you spout? You sound so assured of yourself all the time, every single time you say your sweeping statements which never seem to carry any actual weight. P.S I corrected your post for you.
  12. You are a nutcase.
  13. Of course, how could I be so stupid.
  14. And you have proof of this do you?
  15. If you look at the state of public services and many other things when Tony Blair left, we were in an excellent position. The world recession unfortunately has hit that, but our public debt is still lower than most other developed countries.
  16. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1303942/Bonfire-middle-class-benefits-Families-lose-13bn-welfare-clampdown.html Typical hypocrisy by the Daily Mail here, they moan and moan and moan about the amount of benefits given to poorer families who live in desolate areas. The second the 'Middle Class' benefits come 'under risk', they go off on one.
  17. I'm not a Tory, far from it. I really really dislike them, but a Tory government at some point is inevitable(as in the cycle in this country)... and what better way to have it than in coalition with the Liberal Democrats acting almost as a anchor to pull us back from a full on total Tory government which would be much much worse.
  18. Tony Blair made mistakes, but the length to which some people think he lies and schemes is beyond me. On a Daily Mail article I was reading the other day about this donation someone had commented something along the lines of 'Don't believe him, he's lying' and it had been liked hundreds of times. Some people are just dumb.
  19. What a bizarre article that is, a 0.7% drop in earnings in these times in hardly worth the speculation they link it to. I hate the Daily Mail.
  20. Blair can't win at all with some people. Whether I believe in his wars or not, I can still respect that he appreciates the job servicemen did under his direction. Well done on this extra generous donation, the biggest in Royal British Legion's history.
  21. Naive and the fact they've had none for so long. Some of them are just so clueless about us males it's funny. I imagine it's same for all boys schools, but I don't know/have met any of them so wouldn't know.
  22. It's leaves them very intelligent, but with no idea how to cope with things and people! I know one person who came from a private school and went to my college, and then went back to private after 2 weeks because they couldn't deal with all the different types of people and how busy it all was. I just don't think that is good!
  23. I really disagree that boarding school provides 'character building'. Compared to people I know who have boarded and so on, I would say I have waaaay more experience on how to deal with real life situations that they have been shielded from in their bubble. Girls only school people are the worst.
  24. It's not about bursaries and scholarships! Not everyone had access to the standard of education you received.
  25. For people who keep bringing the argument 'children will always out perform each other', I realise this. That is not my point. I understand some children are smarter than others. My point is that it is unfair that those with wealth have access to better education than those without wealth, thus giving them a leg up in life. I understand that even if everyone did have access to the same standard of education that some children would fail and others would prosper.
