  1. If we get promoted this year, I think he'll stay. If we miss promotion, I think he may leave to get a division up.
  2. In all honesty, I'd be very careful Patred here, because these kind of claims could be seen as libel and no one is anonymous on the internet anymore.
  3. I'd definitely be willing to go over there and try it as an alternative. Your problem will be in making people become persistent and recurring contributors over a long period of time.

  5. These things nearly never work and 9/10 eventually turn into a dead site once the initial enthusiasm has worn off. The thing with the internet is that it is social and people want to be where people are, so in the end only one site actually ends up being any good, because that is where the people are. This is regardless of how many features a site has.
  6. Whatever he did, all rules have to apply to all prisoners. We don't do the death penalty here, and he should be protected from death. He has a case.
  7. A lot of opinions are represented on this forum and well over a 1000 people normally vote on polls. I think this forum can be seen as an indicator of saints fans opinion, but hardly a scientific one. The problem is I think the average saints fan on this forum pays a lot more attention to the finer details of everything and so form more extreme opinions. I think that a large majority of the rest of the saints fans in existence really don't know about the kind of stuff we hear about because we search it out. Because of this, they probably don't form such extreme opinions and basically only care about the results on the pitch.
  8. All he has done is published a load of names and the personal URL's of each of those names which is already public. Nothing to see here. Move on.
  9. Do we actually know for sure that he has had it revoked yet? Or are we all just speculating on something that could be actually wrong. If it has been revoked though, it is slightly worrying and seems a bit over the top, but again I would like to point out that all our opinions on this are totally uneducated as no-one here really knows the full extent of why this may have happened. But meh, speculating bull**** is always fun.
  10. Turkey joining the EU will be good, would improve relations between the EU and places like the middle east. They have a lot to bring and give.
  11. Such a troll.
  12. Twáts like this lot make me angry! I especially think of the 3 year old girl here who is just left standing in the street late at night next to her dead Grandfather.
  13. http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2008/jul/16/transport.speedcameras
  14. 'Breaking Up The Socialist Nanny State - SPEED CAMERAS AXED AS WAR ON DRIVERS ENDS' There was no socialist state, and their was no frigging war on drivers. Speed cameras do save lives, and if people keep within the speed limits, then why are people worrying? Also, I have a rule... never trust a tabloid headline in caps.
  15. You could train with the players just to keep fit back then?! Either way, sounds like a true saints fan, I'm sorry for your loss.
  16. Since when were veils 'obligatory' for all Muslims over here? I know several Muslims, many don't even wear anything on their heads.
  17. Exactly, so today's players are better. Thanks for admitting it!!!
  18. He has won stuff though, like I said before. And I agree, he isn't yet in the same league as Federer and so on, but I don't think he is that much worse of a tennis player considering the amount of times he has beaten Federer and Nadal. Rod Lever was in a weird period where you had to be amateur to win the slams, but yes Rod Lever was amazing, but he isn't in the same league as todays players. Think of it this way, look at sprinters today compared to 30 40 years ago...
  19. Murray is way better than anyone in past generations, all the top players are. The pace and level at which the game is played at today is miles ahead of what it was 20 years ago. Murray will win a Grand Slam, he's had 2 finals now and countless Semis. He will probably get a US open within the next few years. He is exceptionally good on hard courts, his form last year on them was amazing.
  20. No-one is trying to pretend that Andy Murray is a great? Just that he is a very good tennis player. He is unfortunate that he is playing at the same time as 2 of the greatest players of all time(by the way he has beaten both of them several times).
  21. Andy Murray has won 14 tournaments, including 4 masters series tournaments(which are extremely prestigious). Infact, Miami which he won is often called the 'fifth grand slam' due to its size and prize money. To Hatch who said it is ridiculous how much rest they get... well, you clearly have never played a high tempo game of tennis.
  22. I'm sure it will all be fixed very quickly, no need to panic as a patch has already been released.
  23. Not rivals with pompey anymore?!?! The writer of this article clearly didn't see the FA cup tie last year.
  24. Yer, I think that if we do well, people will come in their droves and we will be selling out by Christmas. Time has shown that fans generally don't seem to care about prices as long as they are within a band if the team are doing well.
  25. I'd maybe agree with you that tennis is generally played by people in the middle class, but I don't know about the 'toffs only' point. I'm a member of a tennis club, and you get a wide range of people, chavs and that included. Tennis just isn't the number 1 sport in this country though, easily in the chasing group behind though with Rugby(though I bet less people play that), and other sports like Cricket. Tennis might even sneak into second place really... The popularity 'sports' like snooker and darts shouldn't be underestimated either. Anyone who says Andy Murray isn't good at what he does is clearly an idiot and knows nothing about tennis.
