  1. The company who has been doing the camera work for the world cup(I assume a South African one) is absolutely awful. The constant slow-mo's of useless irrelevent stuff ****es me off. I'd rather watch the game than a clip of someone reacting to something elongated 10 times.
  2. This doesn't surprise me at all considering the amount of terrible teachers at my old school.
  3. So many pointless threads worrying over nothing during the close-season. Football can not start again quick enough.
  4. Chinese Lanterns... trust.
  5. Euro 2012 only 2 afterwards though
  6. I generally refer to myself at British, not English. I think it's more of a minority thing as to how important it is, Scottish people are nearly always Scottish first.
  7. You can't change the rules based on a one off happening!
  8. Incredible game here, longest in terms of games and time in history... approaching 8 hours on court! 42-41 in the final set.
  9. I'd be at Wembley
  10. I don't know about that, they are getting a lot of their initiatives and ideas into law, better than a full on Tory government anyday.
  11. It just makes me laugh this VAT rise because during the election campaign the Lib Dems accused the Tories of planning to it and the Tories denied it!
  12. Does anyone know what Block 33 row Z is like?
  13. And as it's just a source evaluation question he can't moan he doesn't know the subject
  14. For a start, don't put crime in '' as if to pretend this isn't a crime(also seems like you are suggesting an attack on someone in the street isn't really a crime?). Secondly, yes, you expect the police officer to do something(and to be fair it sounds like they were trying their best to hold fans back). However, it is still the attackers fault for doing it, not the police officers fault and the **** of attacker obviously deserves some sort of punishment.
  15. Disagree. People should be able to not have an urge to fight the next person. Especially over a football rivalry.
  16. If you are out looking for a fight, you are in the wrong. 'That's how it is' is no justification. It's the people's fault!
  17. Unless a police officer said 'Oi, mate... go punch that guy over there would ya', it's clearly not their fault. How well the police performed is irrelevant in the larger picture of who committed the crime and so who is ultimately responsible. Yes, the police could perhaps have done more to sustain order, but the people should not have set off for a fight in the first place. It's the peoples fault. If I walked past a bunch of Pompey fans I certainly wouldn't start chucking stuff at them.
  18. To be honest, I'm more arguing against the silly people on here trying to blame the police for this. If I went to town right now and beat someone up, whose fault is it? Mine.
  19. Federer in big trouble here You always feel he can get out of these situations though... somehow :/ We'll have to wait and see on this one though.
  20. I don't understand how people can blame the police for people being(and it seems pre-meditated violence as well) violent. I understand how maybe you could argue the police didn't control the situation, but it's still their as in the peoples fault. I was at that game and didn't feel the need to go chuck car parts at Pompey fans.
  21. Yes, but they still did it and responsible people should be able to control their actions, therefore they should still serve the sentence.
  22. So it's the police's fault the people decided to try and chuck car bits and wood at each other, not theres?! That's like saying when a murder happens, it's the polices fault for not being at the scene. I disagree, people have to take responsibility for their own actions and as someone said earlier on, 31,000 other people managed to do it fine.
  23. To be honest, it sounds like they deliberately went to find the Portsmouth fans(so it was planned for a start) and then they started ripping bits off cars and throwing them... no, they deserved it.
  24. So, who wants to try causing £30,000 pounds of damage with one 2p coin I will personally reimburse you if you are successful. You get one throw.
  25. To be honest, I bet that these 12 people in particular did a lot more than 'hurl a few coins'.
