can we have a jokes page? The weather is warming up in Soton but it's -9 in pompey. I'm sure there's alot worse and predicable than that.
-
We had it outside ST Mary's but then mealt it down.

Quote from Skysports Score Centre 'pompey are pushing, pushing, pushing, but nothing is happening' Love it

'Strike us down and we will become more powerful than you can possibly imagine!' Well you couldn't get any worse.....so is that with the 8000 fans you managed to scrape together in the lower leagues or the massive 10,000 you had aginast Sunderland in the cup. joke club, joke management, joke city and even bigger joke fans. It not just us laughing at I live n work in London and the majority think skates are a laughing stock and the sooner they go back to the lower division where they will be ahome the better.

FFS I Don’t normally respond to you because you don't seem to have much of a clue about anything. No wonder you have been sent on gardening leave. 1. Yes we blamed those that were supposed to be running the club not the Premier league not the Football League not the Media not anyone else who happens to get involved with a shhiitte hole of club called pompey. 2. Save Our Saints game came after £120k had already been raised by fans to keep the club afloat. Yes you had a couple of hundred fans march on FP wow...well done. 3. SLH did own other businesses that were sold to stave off administration. Admittedly at the end SFC was the only thing left. The FA admitted they changed the rules to ensure Saints where given -10. 4. And the other you couldn't sell them and others was because they are on stupid wages no other club would match. 5. The reason you are blaming the Premier league is because you don't want to face the FACT that it is your club's own fault you are in the SHHiiTTE. Were you blaming to the PL when you 'won' the FA Cup? No, you were loving it and couldn't careless where the money was coming from.....now you have you pay the piper. So before you start getting at others and calling them names (which usually comes about when someone knows they are on a losing wicket) get over yourself, take you head out of the clouds and understand that no-one cares about your shiiittte little club. The only reason other clubs are considering helping is because they know they will be worse off for point if you lot disappear, after all how many clubs haven’t taken points off you ermmmm three I think?. If it wasn't for that I'm sure the Premier league and PL clubs would be glad to see the back of you. And the Football League won't want to pick up the pieces either so they woould be happy to see you go.

Thrashing was it......ah welll thats why your club is in the shiitte. Like storie teller you only know how to spin, so badly that the only ones that believe you are yourselves. Play up or pay up. lol ****te fans two choruses of play up followed by one of Pay Up and your lot shut up. Who cares what comes over on the TV. We know and you know how Shiitte your fans really are. So you couldnt get a ticket presumably because you are a plastic and don't attend that shiitte hole of ground. And dont try to use travelling as an excuse as i have a 5hr round trip to travel to Saints and I've only missed one home game and five away games all season. Neutrals have been having a laugh all day about how pompey are on cloud 9 for beating a 3rd division club. Congratulations for beating a 3rd division club by the way. But one thing we all know and scares the shiitte out of you and fishy smelling friends (and that is why you are on here now) is that you are off to nowhere land while Saints are on the way up. It took you nearly 50 years to get on top of us and we are on our way while skates have only been on top for half a dozen years. So it won't be long before skates are back with their 6,000 crowds and you can go back to supporting Manure. bye bye plastic

I'm hoping that it will be later because it's a long way for Carlisle fans to travel. -

Saintsweb Prediction Fun-What happens to Pompey in court?
the colonel replied to PaulSaint's topic in The Lounge
Sadly I think you are right. They have been clever in paying off the banks because they wouldn't be ****ing around at this stage and probably would have pulled the plug weeks ago. Now they have creditors that will be paid off or payment schemes agreed. They will plead with the judge that they are the new owners and hence need time to sort the mess out. And meanwhiel the Premier league sits backside and does fuuuck all. -
When I was a student on a full grant I used to go on the raz every Friday, Saturday and 2 or 3 other nights of the week. I only had 10 hours of lectures a week. Used to get up about 11am most mornings, and missed most of my morning lectures, usually because of a hangover. If I wasn't on the raz then would be at mates houses with supermarket cheap beer getting ****ed. Constant parties too and what was the best thing about it? People like you were paying for it....absolutely fantastic. And now I earn silly money paying stupid amounts of tax for others to do it. Good on them. And guess what..... mongs like you are still paying for them as well. just gets funnier.

There's a caravan park in Portsmouth that has loads of space for 9 months of the year (the rest of the time it is empty). They're not taking bookings at the moment because of flooding!!!

See Nick you are wrong again......you must be getting used to it by now ;-)......he never said he had a degree.....he said he studied Phycology.....but I suspect that the rest of his class studied PSYCHOLOGY.

I've not been able to find an interview where he has send this. I thought he said one step at a time: get to Zero; get out of the bottom 4; top half of the table by 2010 and then go for play-offs. I read it that to get out of this league was a two year programme, knowing that we have to rebuild the team and get confidence back into the club through out. There is lots of reference to the 5 year plan (the project) to get back into the premiership, which I read as two seasons in this league and three in the conference. So as far as I can see AP has done everything he set out to do. I know we were 2 places off the top half at New Year. Yesterday was gutting. most of us were still cellebrating when their goal went it. COYR

In the recession of the 90s I was in a similar position in the construction industry. When approx’ 250,000 had lost their job in building. Wrote 100s of letters and applied for tonnes of jobs. To get experience I ended up writing to companies offering my services on a self-employed basis. But it meant I started to build up experience and small firms would pass on my details to others. Also they could employ me on an as when needed basis and not have to worry about tax and Nation Insurance. It's hard work being self-employed and trying to build up contacts, but you sound as though you could handle it. It took me a couple of years before I had any decent money coming in. But once the economy started to pick up I was in a better position as I’d been out there working and had my wits about me. The downside is you have to sort out your own tax. But I found I could usually find an accountant that would do my tax return for a couple of hundred quid. Another down side is dealing with the social.... convincing them that you are still available for work when initially you may only be working a few hours a week. Which means you lose your benefits while only working those few hours, but rather that than living off the state. Twenty years later I have my own practice in Central London. F.... king hard work to get here but well worth it. So try not to be too despondent things will get better.... Good luck.

I'm no fan of Lowe, glad to see the back of him, but doesn't the things going on at skates, to some extent, vindicate the way he tried to run Saints financially. i.e. keeping expenditure within our income boosted by the sale of academy players. Of course it fell foul due to turnover of managers and subsequent payouts, flooding the club with quantity rather than quality of players, never attracting any investment, etc. I know the list can go on but prinicpally he tried to keep Saints in the black.

I think you'll find that if you speak to anyone in football or journos (my other half is a journo with a national so I get to meet a few) they think both Saints and skates are a couple nothing clubs with their own petty squabbles and at the moment skates are boxing well above their weight and Saints are well below. Equating to neither being a large club or a small club. To sum it up those in the industry probably think both clubs should be around the top of the championship, as they will never offer anything more than outsiders chance if/when in the top league. But having said that Saints have constantly been referred to as one of the big boys of Div 1 I can't say I ever remember skates being referred to as the same when the roles were reversed. All this rubbish about yours is bigger than mine is just banter and most fans on both sides, with any common sense, know that there isn't much difference between the two clubs.

yeah but at least they won the FA Cup and it was well worth it. Well thats what one the blue few told me the other day. twwat.
