  1. I do not believe the club has cocccccked up about the 60-65s.Yes it is tough luck for them but then again surely they should count themselves lucky to have been paying less that the rest of us so stop moaning about it. The coccck up was letting you pay less in the 1st place. Congratulations to the club for rectifying the situation. It's the rest of us that should be moaning at why 60-65s were aloud to pay less in the first place. Encase you haven't guess there no sympathy from me, you're lucky not to have to paid fun price for the last few years so stop the moaning. And if you retired early then probably means you can afford to so again why not pay full price. Price reduction for the pensioners not those that are nearly there. Retirement age is 65 not 60.

    league 1

Totally agree. League 1 clubs are much friendlier and as you say 'Felt at times we were going back to the old days'.

  17. Love the sash, love the stripes. So which to go for??? I think the thing that may tip it for me is: a neutral mate of mine having come to a couple of home games with me thought the sash kit looked really good but also thought it made the team look much bigger than the opposition (hence possibly giving us a bit of Psychological advantage), I think this is probably because the kit has a rugby feel about it. Well I am an egg chaser as well so it has to be the sash......oh shhhiiitttte but can we go away from the stipes...fffuuuccck I don't know. Can we have stripes with a sash across them??

    History

How far back do you want to go? 1900 - 1910.....saints were on the rise. Made it to 2 FA Cup finals. I think winning 6 out of 10 Southern league titles in this period. We would 'likely' have been a major force in the football league e.g. as we were signing players from football league clubs. The main reason Saints weren't in the football league was because it mainly consisted of midland and northern clubs. Transport was a problem and very expensive, I think a couple of southern clubs almost went bust but because they tried to compete in the league with the northern clubs. So Saints resisted and dominated the southern league during this period. I would take skate's gloating with a pinch of salt...do you here Huddersfield fans going on about their 3 league titles in 1924, 25 & 26? No because they know the game has changed and that is in the past. Skate's fans generally don't have much of clue and think they are a massive club because they spent (and I mean SPENT) 7 years in the top flight.
  19. Paris is a shhhiiittte hole go to Barcelona instead. Much more friendly and fun.
  20. Fantastic news. Goes to show the intent of the Marcus legacy and NC. There IS money there to be spent in the right places. The master plan is to develop a Barcelona type set up where home grown players are developed and kept. This shows the intent of the next stage of the master plan and show we are no longer a selling club....now we need AOC to stay. I think we as fans are still struggling to come to terms with new Saints.....a Saints with a future.....and dare we hope (scared to hope) a big future. Well done NC, NA and Adam.
