You forget that this is not unique to Skates. A lot of small grounds are known for their noisy atmosphere. Typical example was the Dell. The media were always going on about the Dell, the atmosphere and the affect it had on the big clubs, our record against the top clubs was quite good. It was often quoted in the media that one of the reasons for our longevity in the top league was down to the Dell. Also speak to players of that era and many hated coming to the Dell because of the intense atmosphere and closeness of the fans. So don't get excited by your own hype.

The Southern League is over looked by history but it was an important league and Saints had signed players for the football league and were the top southern league team. The football league only consisted of the northern clubs plus arsenal. So you could argue we have 6 titles against their 4 !?! Or am I clutching at straws.

Saints have only lost (nearly) a quarter of the games the skates have Saints more than double the home attendances than skates Saints more than double the away attendance than skates All Saints away games have been amongst the best attended for the clubs we visited. Oh yeah you win, skates have let in more goals. With skates maths and logic that must mean you are bigger and better.
