West Ham are appealing the red card. Hahahahahaha. Best of luck with that then..!
-
We would have been promoted 3 weeks ago

If Richardson and Butterfield are both unavailable I don't think I would have any problem with Harding playing there. Did so at the start of January for a couple of games and played well.

Took too long to get home for me to bother with anything long. Kelvin had a cracking game and kept us in it at times. Hooiveld and Fonte were excellent at the back. Lallana and (when he came on) Puncheon were also fantastic. They dominated the first half, but on clear cut chances it could have been 2-2. Second half we played them off the park but just couldn't create enough. We played very wide and hit a lot of crosses that were well cleared. When passing through the middle we seemed to find more joy. How Sharp missed I will never know. If you push somebody over it's a red card, Matt Taylor. Lallana's dive was really disappointing. Our fans were brilliant tonight. East London is a dump.

Jaidi is playing a reserve game tomorrow to build up his fitness

Agreed, we need to get right at them from the off and starting Puncheon would be more effective than bringing him on later IMO.

Umm...

Ok cheers for the info

After the game my train leaves London Bridge at 22:50, Upton Park to there on the tube is about 20-25 minutes. Anybody how long the wait usually is after the game? Cheers.

That team HAS to beat Burnley at home.
-
I forgot we signed every player we're linked with.
-
Agreed. He's managing the 3rd best team in England at the minute and the two managers ahead of him won't have the job. So the people that say Redknapp needs money to succeed would rather see a manager who has gained a fair amount on a tight budget, I guess? Graham Westley for England it is then.

Well Billy Sharp is about 10x the player LJ is, and we've got Sharp.
-
Well while i'm sure everyone on this forum is ready to cry them a river, it worked very well from a police perspective. Interested to see where they are going to put 60 coaches at SMS though.

I think we'll do the business. Saints to win 3-1, Sharp scoring a brace

Saints V Millwall FA Cup Replay Match Thread!

I was led to believe that the rules states Sharp would have had to have signed for Saints in time for the original game against Millwall. Really looking forward to how Lee and Chaplow get on
-
Yeah agreed with everything he said. Glad it wasn't him that told Lambert to chip it!
-
Big shame Falque can't play in the cup, can only seem him getting a game when two of Puncheon, Lallana and De Ridder are injured.
-
From anyone that was at the game, how was the atmosphere? Could hear our fans for most of the game

Bet Sky were delighted they chose that for TV! Birmingham have been like a steam train in recent weeks so on the face of it it's a very good away point. The performance is a difficult one to judge, with both teams putting many more balls astray than they normally would. Annoyed that Lambert didn't shoot, how many of those chipped balls to the back stick have actually gone in, 1? 2? Thought Puncehon was our MOTM but is obviously still struggling with match fitness. Roll on the next game, Burnley at home is a necessary 3 points.
