Our 3 games in hand over Bompey are against Walsall and Charlton (twice). With Charlton's result today you could say we've got a fair chance. Reckon we could get 7 out of those 9 points. Beat Bournemouth and we'll go up IMO

Good luck to Doble, will be nice to finally see him get a bit of first team action.

I believe Cortese actually mentioned this himself, before you start saying my post is crap (not a swear word). I recognise that the club could have given more notice to let those affected know this wouldn't be continuing, but what you are suggesting would have meant people paying for double the number of season tickets in the same season.

60 minutes played Arsenal were 28/1

Why, on Earth, does it matter?

And do what instead exactly?

I believe the instalment plans were due to come back this season. They were ended because 400 or so set up payments to the club and then cancelled them once they received their ST. Can't blame the club 1 bit for taking them out for the season.

I LOVE how their fans gave it the big one before the season, and then they won something like their first 6 games, before nosediving to 16th and 5 points off the drop. I'm sure they'll do a Leicester, walk the league, with such a strong squad and all.

Great night for us, win our games in hand and we go back to second.

A 3 minute video and i'd rate him as one of Englands hottest young talents. Looked an outstanding performance

Yes it would encourage managers to put better sides out, but the problem is lower league teams don't need a stronger incentive to play good teams. And that, perhaps, mediocre premier league side would just get battered in Europe, game after game. You then have Chelsea, United and Arsenal in the same 3 spots every year *****il City spend far too much money) and just the UEFA places to play for. The likes of Liverpool, Spurs and Villa (from the last couple of years) have very little to aim for. Think it's a poor idea, but a better incentive for FA cup sides is a good thought.

5.30 kick-offs for all games? No replays would be stupid, it's the magic of the FA Cup, otherwise you're just playing 2 league cups. Seeded teams is debatable, don't really mind. Having the winner as the 4th CL spot is a ridiculous idea. Those that get it now have earned it over the course of the season and, in recent years, there has been plenty of competition for it (Spurs as great example). You put the likes of Portsmouth in the CL for winning a few games in a row and they will get raped, week in, week out, by better organised foreign teams, taking the English game as a joke.

Can see Rovers digging deep and holding Bompey to a draw. Reckon Charlton will do the business though

Like I said in the Build-up thread, time to get our heads down and win games like everyone else. The 4 games we have against others in the top 5 are absolutely crucial to the season.

Hearts Leicester Blackpool/Villa over 3.5 goals 53/1 Or if you swap Leicester with Saints it's still 38/1
