Swindon have signed striker Mike Grella from Leeds United, on loan until the end of the season. Looked a very promising talent for Leeds last season
-
Agreed. There's a lot of scope for points being dropped there
-
Promotion watch for the weekend: Notts County v Charlton - A couple of poor results at home for Charlton and County brushed aside Colchester at home. Draw Daggers v Bompey - 3 Points from 3 home games sees a lack in confidence for Bradbury's men. I reckon Daggers can grind out another draw. Huddersfield v Leyton Orient - Orient going great guns at the moment, but they may have one eye on the Cup replay. Home win MK Dons v Brighton - Tough one to call really, MK aren't bad at home, but Brighton, well... Could be any scoreline, i'll go for a score draw Oldham v Posh - Oldham have scored once in their last 4 games, and Posh score for fun. Away win Charlton and Bompey dropping points (and us winning, of course) would be a good weekend's work.

Winner of unnecessary comment of the day award.

Would like to see Barnard or Forte start next to Lambert. If Forte is a striker then his pace could really do some damage with Lallana on the wings.

By some of the comments on here, Saturday can't come quickly enough. Swindon have dropped like a stone since Austin left, and he finally can't score against us! We just need to show that spark that has been lacking in recent games and a get a few in the net. I'm going for 3-0 Saints
-
Charlton won there last season and lost this. Who cares about last season? Hartlepool are not too bad a side now and have a good home record. You're talking about S****horpe right? S****horpe who were doing perfectly fine in mid-table Championship. S****horpe who, since Adkins left, went 5 and a half months without winning at home.

Charlton will be pleased as well, but they have a tough game at Notts County on Friday night.
-
What exactly do you want him to pull his finger out and do? Not even Martin Luther-King could have got the team bang up for a cold Tuesday night in the rain, on a poor pitch, 350 miles from home. I can't imagine Nigel spends the time during the week sat in his office doing nothing. The man will be working his ******** off to get this team promotion. He talks about Brighton's result as 'frustrating' and clearly still see's the title as a realist ambition. He's been promoted from this crap league twice in the last few years, give him a break ffs.

24/33 if you count it from December 28th (after our 18 day break) -
To be fair 4 teams are on 16 there and we have 15. Will be interesting to look at that table next tuesday

All other forums from the teams around us saying the same thing - Opportunity missed. It happens in football, we have 17 games left and 51 points to play for. The games against Bompey and Charlton are MASSIVE and will decide our season. I'll wait until we've played those games until I start slitting my wrists, like most seem to be doing. -

True. Brighton and Charlton (who both lost at Hartlepool), would probably say the same. -

Exeter and Posh weren't bad. We haven't played 31 games. And if we win the 2 games to get us to 31, we will be second. HTH -

Umm...? It would only be fair to look towards the end of the season after we've played Bournemouth on March 12th. 7 points from 3 games before that will do nicely. -

Pleased with that. Always gonna be a tough place to go with the pitch and weather. Posh and Bournemouth dropped points at home to teams lower in the league than Hartlepool. Charlton are the only team to gain from tonight, but they seem to be fading a bit. Charlton and Brighton both lost at Hartlepool. Point gained. -
Just had a look online. Plymouth at 15/2 being the big catch
-
BTW that as an accumulator is 2,000/1
-
I quite fancy draws for Huddersfield and Bournemouth too, but forget a Plymouth win away at Brighton.
-
Didn't a Gillingham player score a great goal against us when we won 4-1 at home last season?
-
You would drop Hammond from the squad entirely? He has been fantastic for us in the last few weeks
-
Along the same lines: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0092965/

Downfall for me. The Boy In Striped Pyjamas was pretty eye-opening, but more based around Jew camps than the war itself.
-
Second day in a week results have gone our way. Things looking up
-
MK Won't be a threat to us, we have 4 games in hand and still have to face them at home.
