Pretty much how I see it. I've never thought we would go up automatically and I just don't see us winning the play offs. On the up side, at least we win more games in this league.

From what i saw, very similar to the first team, lots of possession but little end product. Had we taken our chances we could've won comfortably, but in good old saints fashion we contrive to lose it. Hi hum onwards and upwards.

Only followed on here but sounds like a good professional performance from manager and players. Four goals, clean sheet, fringe players getting time, others getting rest, what's not to like. Onwards and upwards, when's the draw for the next round?

These are the games and dropped points that may well come back to haunt us at seasons end. Norwich simply let us have the ball, sat in and defended. For all our possession we created very few guilt edge chances, despite the stats. We have to learn that sitting on a single goal is not managing the game effectively, and simply gives the other team a chance. On the plus side, thought we did keep pushing and try to win it in injury time. A point away is not to be sniffed at but but can't help thinking it's two dropped, not one gained. We shall see.
