  1. Get a grip, our Jack played better than their Jack today, but that's about the size of it. Their Jack will get an England cap long before ours. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk
  2. Just got back, this time last year we were singing 'Last Christmas' at Huddersfield and we were doing the same at Villa Park today - hopefully we can get the same end of season result as last year as well. Good game today, when was the last time you saw us 3 nil up away from home (Skates excluded of course...!). Everybody put in a shift today, lots of harrying and not letting them settle on the ball, won tackles and controlled the game pretty much throughout. Danny Ings will probably get the plaudits and MotM for his two goals and probably rightly so, but big shout out to Jack Stephens today, much maligned on here, but he played really well today. Was strong at the back, got across on the cover and chipped in with a goal as well. Yeah Villa are poor, and yeah we did make some mistakes, but on the whole fully deserved the result and the 3 points. When it came to Grealish we pretty much tripled up on him and nullified the threat - he got the goal (good volley) but that was pretty after the game was won. We looked like for a little while that we might do our collapsing act after they scored but actually kept it tight and saw the game out quite comfortably. The Holt End were pretty much silent for the entire match which is always a good sign when you're away at Villa Park, meanwhile the travelling fans were having another round of 'Last Christmas'. Excellent away day - 3 points - Merry Xmas everybody....!
  3. The amount of games left is not the issue. It's the amount of winnable games, and for our lot that is very few. We get into good positions and inevitably bottle it and throw the points away, or we do like tonight, fail to show up for the game. After the first two minutes today you could tell that there was no way we were going to win that game, and that's how it transpired, it was so predictable. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk
  4. This. Don't think there would be very many decent managers wanting to gamble their reputations on trying to keep this lot in the premier league. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk
  5. Jamie Redknapp on Sky, picking out our players who didn't do enough. No shame some. Very short memory. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk
  6. It's it wrong that I was actually laughing out loud about just how bad we looked at the end...? Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

  14. He wouldn't want to ruin his reputation by taking this lot on, so you can forget that. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk
  15. 45 minutes of 'football' and their keeper hasn't had to make a save. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

  21. It's probably because once again we are languishing in the relegation zone again at xmas. It may also have something to do with our total inability to take points from good positions in games. It could be that many of us know that if Danny Ings gets injured we are in some serious shyte. Scraping to 40 points (no way we're getting that many) may be your idea of a successful season, but I was hoping for something a little better this season. Perennial relegation fodder is not good fun. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk
  22. Now the hurt has gone and I'm back to the controlled, composed and rational person that I normally am, I'm still highly ****ed off, the sign of a good team apparently is playing poorly and getting something. We are doing to opposite. Things need to change quickly.
  23. Brilliant....
  24. I'm not denying that he may have had a good game and made good saves during that game. The point being that he won't be the 1st average player to do well in a league that is obviously of a lower standard to the one he left. How many of you would've had Fraser or Mo down to win trohpies while they were in the Premier League, slightly easier to win things now and be at the fore of that league I would suggest.
  25. I don't think it's his luck that has changed, more the level of teams that he now plays against. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk
