I'm not sure we are at the 'latter stage', there are another 3 league's to go through yet. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

An nor should he be. Young players breaking through should be introduced to a team that is on the up, not a team that are in decline. In the ideal world anyway.

Again, nothing but gallows humour. When you're in the predicament we're are in, it's difficult to do anything other than laugh. Gotta keep your sense of humor and keep going. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

Just got back, quite surprised by some of the comments on here. They are the current champions and streets ahead of us, and our confidence had been shot to shyte. There was only ever going to be one outcome, but for us it was all about restoring a bit of confidence. They were all over us first half, but we did work hard and try to keep our shape. That said, you still have to ask how Aguero is allowed to stand totally unmarked in the middle of the 6 yard box for their second. First half, we didn't get a kick, but we did have a better period in the second and it looked like a little confidence was restored. Don't tend to agree with those saying that City let up, thought they played high intensity throughout. In fact, they play everything fast, especially corners where we were slow to pick up on numerous occasions. PEH did well at left back, as did Romeo and Armstrong in the middle, Danso looked ok, decent long throw as well. Given what happened on Friday, thought Valery coped particularly well given that his confidence will have taken a real battering. Oh, keep Alex in goal, makes saves, looks confident. As I said, I don't know what some people on here were expecting, but I went tonight fully expecting us to lose. Given the resources we have, compared to their riches it's always a tough ask to get anything there. Yes, they made changes, but please, do me a favour, look at that team, most of them would get into most prem teams without too much bother, they have quality all over the field. Fans were good too, lots of good natured chants (it's only one nil, how **** are you.., we've got the ball.., ole's), gave the players a good hand at the end. As I said, never expected to get anything, but the players should at least take a little confidence out of it. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

This. Me and my lad will be there, we'll support as normal for any other match, new game, new slate. That said, if it turns into the same ****show as Friday (which i don't think it will) I've little doubt the support, and mood, will change. On another note, anybody know, do they use VAR for cup games? Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

I wasn't there, but that's exactly how it came across to me listening on television. Plus trying to inject a little gallows humour with the man city we're coming for you. But frankly, at the end of the day I wouldn't knock anybody for leaving, or deciding to stay.

This is pretty much a fair and balanced view and I'm hoping that you are correct. I think it all depends now on how much the players confidence has been damaged, 0 - 9 is one hell of a "you are shyte" statement and very hard to shrug off. Also agree with Batman though, unless we address this situation properly (either in Jan or at the end of the season), in the long term, we are only going one way.

Can you play tomorrow?

Saints will buy at CB and FB, new DoF in a month, says Telegraph

And the main reason for that it's that we couldn't offload our dross to anybody else (unsurprisingly) , and therefore couldn't raise funds to buy. Nothing had changed since then, so I'm not overly optimistic of any radical changes any time soon. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk -
Resist, resist, you know you're better than that. Oh no you're not though.... next time, maybe.... Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

I work in a small team of 5, one supports colchester, the gaffer is a Swindon fan, one supports liverpool and the other is a skate. I'll be pulling a sickie on Monday. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

We've just done that. Che Adams was knocking them in for fun in the championship last year, so we went out and got him. Not working out very well at the moment. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

So we are going to back the manager. With what exactly, he hasn't invested anything since he bought in. We can't shift the rubbish that we have already accumulated, nobody would be stupid enough to take them off our hands. So how are we going to fund these new players. This article is nothing more than 'pacification paperwork' as fast as I'm concerned, I'll believe it when i see it. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk -
Somebody needs to be in charge of the cones. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

That is exactly what we were missing last night, steel, grit and professional pride. None of our lot are fit to lace the boots of those lads. Not one. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

Yeah i think so, but the OP suggests that we need to spend 150 mil in Jan to survive. Our owner hasn't got 150 quid to invest, never mind million. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

Does anybody have a spare 150 million...., anybody.....? FFS. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

The lad had a mare, no mistake, but he's much better than he showed last night. Personally I think he needs to be taken out of the firing line, need to get Cedric back. Yeah he was crap last night, but to heap it all on the kid is unfair. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

While i agree with everything that you say, i would point out, that arguably, it was our 'senior pros' who were the catalyst for last night's **** show. Bertrand, stupid tackle, deserved to go, Maya, awful performance, PEH, no captain in there - shocking 'leadership', Romeo, no fight, nothing. When that got to 3 nil the 'senior pros' should've rolled up their sleeves, thrown a few ****s and got a grip of the younger players. It didn't happen, they all capitulated together - the 'senior pros' shouldn't be digging anybody out but themselves. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

Was your brother the guy that Gary Neville interviewed on sky before the game? He was a Leicester fan from the IoW. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

Very true, and even if he did find some investment (which he won't), as we all know, it's notoriously difficult to get half decent players in the January window. We tried it once before with our record signing and look how that turned out..! We ain't buying our way out of this mess. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk

Exactly, how many agents will be telling their clients to hand in their cards? Errr that'll be none then. No chance of him resigning, therefore if we want him gone somebody has to pull the trigger, and foot the bill. Sent from my SM-T590 using Tapatalk
