  1. We didn't we signed Mcloughlin from Swindon then he went onto Pompey. Had a decent spell there through the 90's
  2. that was my first game!
  3. What was that picture all about anyway? Anyone got the thread?

    Ryan's Return

Hopefully having failed to make the grade at Chelsea it will mean he will go under the radar of the Big clubs or at least they will think twice about going in for him. I think he is a fantastic player and hopefully with a good season he will start at the Euro's (should Shaw not make a very speedy recovery)
  5. ps why can't they get tickets? Norwich went on general sale as did Everton as did both home Europa games.
  6. Didnt know about the membership scheme? Christ I can't get away from it on the OS. Tickets have been on sale to people who have purchased a home ticket in 2015-16 for about 10 days now. I got the email about it. I haven't bought a membership as there is no point in getting one as very few home games if any will sell out at the members stage. Away games slightly different but the really popular away games will sell out to STs anyway. The club told me earlier this season that they intend to keep the membership for next season and beyond but I cannot see it being very popular next season especially if we have nto qualified for Europe and have had a mid table finish this season. It would be £40 for my son and I so I have saved myself the cost of going to one game which I can actually spend on tickets.
  7. Yes I am Stadium MK better than SMS for facilities. Selhurst Park and King Power Stadium better atmosphere than SMS. What I mean by that is their fans make more noise than us.
  8. I wasan't talking about atmosphere. But as you mention it SMS has none either, Selhurst Park and King Power stadium p1ss all over us for atmosphere.
  9. Mate SMS is boring. It's an identakit stadium. Stadium MK has two tiers, comfy soft seats with loads of leg room. Forget about who is playing in it and that it is half empty it's head and shoulders above SMS.
  10. And the league one game. Lambert scored a worldie
  11. Why the **** have we not sold out before this?
  12. Cheers for the smart arse answers from some of you. Family member printed out on my behalf as the PDF wouldn't open for me and they didn't see there was anything to scan.
  13. Used the print at home option for the first time for Thursday night but what do I do with the print out when at the ground? No barcode to scan...... cheers.
  14. Thing is I'm not a day tripper. I'm 34 and saw my first game in 1991 and have been up and down the country watching saints. I take my son to games and we only do cat c games due to the cost. I go to 6-8 games a season, a mixture of home and away and don't live local to soton.
  15. I agree 50 quid is dirt cheap and a great price but for those that don't live locally and their children have commitments at the weekend and go to a few games each season its a bit of a kick in the teeth with all the talk around football about reducing ticket prices. On the face of it 8 quid is good value but not when it was zero last season Reducing the free tickets from 2 per adult in 2013-14 which I admit was very generous to one last season to none next season doesn't strike me as encouraging kids to go to football.
  16. Happy days. The club have confirmed the free under 11 ticket has been done away with. So not £40 for dad and son to watch a cat C game rather than £32 last season. See response from the club. Heather Funny how that wasn’t mentioned on the website. They haven’t been frozen if an Under 11 was £0 for a Cat c with an adult last season and is now £8 for cat c with an adult. Wings have come down in price but no good if you want to sit in the family stand with your son. Not your doing of course but pass on my thanks to the club. Obviously the sky money coming in soon is still not enough. Hi Richard, Thank you for your email. The website is correct, we are no longer offering the free under 11 this season as areas have been changed and prices have been frozen. All prices shown on the website are correct. If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact me. Kind regards, Heather. Hi Please could you confirm if you will no longer offer a free Under 11 ticket with every adult ticket for Cat C games in the family stand as you did for the 2014-15 season (2013-14 season it was 2 under 11 tickets free with one paying adult. The article on the website now says £8.
  17. great so the price has gone up from £32 for an adult and under 11 in family stand for a Cat c game to £40. cheers SFC.
  18. Have the club done away with the free u11 ticket with one adult for cat C games? Says 8 quid on the website. Or is that the price is you are bringing a second under 11?
  19. Have the club done away with the free u11 ticket with one adult for cat C games? Says 8 quid on the website. What are the tickets that have been reduced?
  20. where would you spend £25 extra to see the odd game when you can do that without a membership?
  21. In the past, I think ST holders regardless of how many games they have been to get get priority of non ST holders who have been to say 6 games. Always a difficult one to manage. Some people say well the ST holder has pumped more money into the club others say its takes more effort to go to 6 away games. I am non ST holder and go to 6-8 games a season. half away and half home. I don't go to the cat A games as they are too expensive. I may give membership a go as we might have some eupora league games or other cup games I would like to go to. But if we are not in Europe the following season I probably wont bother. I can go to Cat c games regardless of being a member or not.
  22. and if there isn't? it will help to get priority for the bigger home league games but its not needed for the majority of home games and the really popular away games will sell out to ST holders first anyway. Apart from priority that there are no other benefits of it and for £25 quid its on the high side for that alone.
  23. Welcome. Cahill has had a decent season but he got dropped for a run of poor games. Fonte has been consistently excellent all season. I guess the profile of Chelsea if one of the reasons Cahill got the nod. Fonte to an extent has gone under the radar.
  24. yeah I know. I go to watch saints and don't care if its Carlisle or Man utd. Just a question about the stance from the club as to how they view our appetite for the game should they come up.
