  2. Heard it on the way to work. Was cracking up. If I was the presenter I would have told him to do one!! How many callers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????? I couldn't really make out what point he was trying to make.
  3. What was the first kit that was avaliable for supporters to buy? Looking at my old shirts my first was 1991-93 Draper tools. Got it on xmas day 1991. Happy days
  4. I went but missed the first half as sutck in a traffic jam getting off the slip road. Stuck for an hour and half and we could see the ground!! Anyone else get stuck? Support stuck with the team. Some boos when Guly came on but were sound drowned out by support for him. Few idiots behind me slagging off Guly and Fox at every opportunity. Even though Guly did ok when he came on. I swear people are brain washed by this forum and no matter what some players do they will get stick regardless as people just toe the party line or like someone to moan at. COYR
  5. Had one in Oxford too. All closed down circa mid 2000's

  7. very sad to hear. Grew up watching him RIP
  8. Could someone post a link to the match day prices. I have searched high and low all over the OS. Very much appreciated!!!!
  9. My wife and I smack our two children. Only if they've been very naughty and particualrly if they have been warned not to do something. We smack as a punishment and not because we think it will stop them doing it again because kids are kids and they will get into mischief no matter whjat you do or say. We use other punishments like depriving them of treats. no playing outside, no pudding at tea time, no tv etc etc but sometimes a smack on the bum is appropriate. Our two children are adopted (they are brother and sister 4 and 6) and we love them dearly.
  10. Guys if we stay up and do a few seasons in the prem the novelty will wear off and we wont need loyalty points. If we're struggling next season I dont see a problem for non STH (thats me) in getting tickets for away games especially up north for games outside of the top 4/5. Kinda makes me miss the champ and L1!!!
  11. I'm catholic and it doesnt bother me in the slightest. Buy hey we all know it's not ok to offend anyone except us catholics. We're fair game
  12. I love when people make up laws! like it being illegal to take a photo of a police car! I'd love to know why they thought it was illegal?
  13. Oh **** I had forgotten about that til now.
  14. My best mate is a Norwich City fan and has had an ST previously at Carrow rd. He told me today away fans were being charged £40 plus at Carrow road last season!!!!!!!
  15. Every single person going on sat and that includes me must stay with the team. No negativity or nerves towards the team. Sing your hearts out, scream, shout for 90 mins -this is one of our most important games for several years. The players need us and we must deliver for them. They need a wall of noise when they come out and for the whole 90. This is our club and we are all desperate for it to be back in the PL - make sure you do your bit on sat. Up the saints
  16. Thought Adam had a good game. My MoTM. Good atmos. Nice to be on a terrace for a change - stunk of bo and beer!!!
  17. look this is not a must win game. Just match west ham's result and its another game chalked off.
  18. telephones are down too!!!!! Just got through and they cant process!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. Me neither. I think its something kids growing up should know about etc etc and I am facisnated by it and watch docu's when they are on tv but a minutes silence before a footie match, even its a saints match seems a bit over the top. It was hardly WW1.
  20. Agreed. There is plenty of football left. Look how things changed in the last few weeks. It can easily change again tbf the players wont be getting carried away but fans will be fans.
  21. Went corporAte last season. 20 of us on the lash. Never asked names. If the place is going up in flames who the **** is gonna take your name. If you give fake names they are not going to id you so its pointless unless they check on the door!!!
  22. G star (in the early 2000's) but before every chav started to wear it!!!! Though the jeans are still the best around.
  23. you need to declare your SP30 even if its been removed from your licence. (if its within 5 years) But to be honest by then it wont make a difference to the cost by the third year or so,
  24. Having been on a drink drive course there is no hard and fast rule about how much you can drink, how long it takes to rid your system becuase all of our bodies react differently to alcohol. You could two people drink 6 pints in an eve and one could be over the limit the next morning and the other not. Best not to drink anything. I learnt the hard way.
  25. Cautions are a quick win for the OB. The case is wrapped up on the night and no hassle with police/cps producing a file and going to court. Saves time and money. They are being used for offences however, that would have previously gone to court which means people are effectively getting a slap on the wrist for some quite serious offences. They are useful in some circumstances but on the face of it a black eye, cut lip and broken nose does not seem an approppriate use of the caution. The other problem is people are accepting cautions without understanding the implications. It gives you a criminal record as would any guilty appearance at court. Quite often the OB will offer a caution if they feel there is no likely prospect of a successful prosecution at court. It would be better for people, in certain cases, to refuse this and go to court. The Magistrates Association have complained about the over use of the caution and the number dished out have gone through the roof. Justice on the cheap.
