sweet jesus he has the same initials as he who we do not speak of! for a moment i thought he'd returned as a striker!

We are better off without either of them, but I wish them both well. The fact remains neither of them should have been here in the first place.

camera would be devestating in this league, wouldn't even consider a move here when there will be loads of championship and indeed premiership offers

Whats Chris Baird up to these days Is he getting a game?
-
Problem is we can't afford our usual peace poor start to the season which is a saints trademark, being on -9 we need to hit the ground running. We have to go into every game believing we can and will win games. Its depressing seeing your team with not even a point on the board. Having said that theres no way we should bring in the negativity if we lose some of the first five or six games this is essentially a new team and of course it will take time.

Isn't she originally from Bournemouth?

What it needs is for some friendly competition between the two, pardew could whisper to Raziak, Lambert will score more goals than you and if you think he won't than get out on the pitch and prove it! and vice versa

Don't think its fair to have these comparison type threads designed to create animosity towards ex-players. I'm prob misisng the point though

Yeah it almost feels weird to be able to concentrate on whats going on on the pitch for a change rather than what the next catastrophic decision by the inept board is going to be. It feels good

including one against us by the look of it

Not wanting to get carried away but it seems that we are slowly entering a new dawn, it seems a lot of peoples enthusiasm towards the club and city are slowly returning! We have experienced the darkest of times and at the lowest point under (He who we shall not name) 's Reign i.e the whole going dutch saga and subsequent admin I think a lot of us had lost faith in the notion that we are a superb club and most people couldn't face the pain of watching an extended death of a once great club. Make no mistake we have a lot of hard work to do and its going to be a long term plan over the next four or five years but I honestly believe that we will see SFC return to where it belongs as a great premiership club! It may be a cliche to say it but I feel once more we as fans can be proud to be saints fans once more! (Lets face it at one point if you told people you were a saints fan you would face a wave of s******s) I guess what I'm saying is I can see a light at the end of the tunnel and its getting brighter by the day! Heres to a much brighter future, up the saints! PS Sorry for this somewhat overly sentimental self satisfied rant, my god the swear filter wont let me write s******s!

I read that he has always been interested in football and loves to watch it with his familly and has no history of an infinity with saints but fell in love with the club when a friend (probably cortese) reccomended sfc and showed him round and told him of the plight the club has faced over the last four or five years.

My god this is absolutely uncanny! well if they ever make another one Markus is the man!

Phew! I just thought it might not have been because the crest looked all wrong

Is that even the official scarf? looks like one he's had knitted for him or bought on some dodgey market stall

comments that may contain some harsh language I'm guessing

Good to see he was actually in the stand rather than hiding away in a private box, wonder if he'd ever stand in the northam?
-
Was really pleased to see that! how often did we see Lowe wearing anything other than an sfc tie?
-
Thought the two long range efforts were impessive he definitely has the skill but didn't see him as man of the match for me, that was Harding less skill but he stuck to his task like a demon one of the best defensive displays I've seen from a saints player for a long time.

WGS was Just there because he/his daughter lives in southampton

Not sure if ya talkin about the example picture on here that I photoshoped or the one on the OS?

I always thought Niemi said to fans he would never cross the line to the fishy side. Oh well i guess it may be his last stab at the premiership can't blame him
