Why is connolly constantly injured? is so frustrating as quality player, jaidi is older is he not? yet manages to stay reasonably fit

In Lambert and Barnard we have two proven goal scorers that seem to have started to form a nice partnership. Should they get injured we dont really have anyone else to safely rely on, Time to sign one more of lamberts quality or players in other areas more important?

Some people are such moaners attractive football is just a bonus, i couldnt honestly give two hoots wether we hoof it up field and the ball dribbles over the line as long as we are winning games and scoring goals then i am happy! This league isnt about attractive football. Its more important that we get out of this league and back in the championship where we belong. Totally agree. Yes I am very frustrated at a loss especially to a side considered one of the lesser teams, but why cant some fans put things into perspective we are going to lose games and one loss does not equal the end of our season!, some people really do need to get a grip we are still in there! that said I understand fans frustrations

I dont agree with gay pride either, think its totally redundant as you cant be proud of something you have no control over and the whole rights thing has been sorted so to speak, i do appreciate the people that fought for those rights though. Yes definitely i dont see anything wrong with a little lighthearted banter its when people cross the line into being malicious with intent that needs to stop

well this is impressive took 25 posts in before somone confirmed that theres always one muppet on the forum. Have to say it seems that things have moved on a little for the majority of people...... most people realise somones sexuality doesnt make them any different as a person and that we share the same goal of supporting are local team and wanting the best for them. Theres always going to be the minority of 14 yr olds chavs where their intelligence doesnt go beyond sexuality jokes and bullying but thats to be expected. Am pleasantly suprised with the reaction to this thread more "couldnt care less" comments than i was envisioning, thanks everyone. Noone answered the original question so cant comment on that

I realise i have probably posted this in the wrong section apologies. Thanks for the reasoned comments there appreciated. Yes i think things have moved on generally just still a little stigma over things. Its kind of cool as most people don't even pick up that Im gay as im not your typical girly guy. Comments are always going to be there from the minority and I accept its part of life, everyone is discriminated for something these days Yes thats very true nothing is ever black and white with regards sexuality. Somehow I doubt anyone else is gonna come forward on here other than me but thats cool to be expected (not trying to make out im some kind of hero or role model far from it!)

I realise this is going to set me up for all sorts of abuse and no doubt I will prob not be able to post on here again, but I thought I'd be brave/incredibly foolish and say that yes I am indeed Gay and have supported the saints since a young age when my dad used to take me to the dell. I just wanted to try and dispell the myth of the stereotype that Gay guys cant have anything to do with typical masculine sports. (and to the imature no i dont support for eyeing players, I have a genuine affinity to my home club and enjoy football as a sport) Maybe saints fans will suprise me with their maturity who knows! What do saints fans think of people like gareth thomas who have indeed risked their whole career?
