my favourite saints goal is avoiding relegation this season
-
We were refering to this statement "Southampton's beleaguered chairman Rupert Lowe, who regained a club left in financial meltdown by the chronic mismanagement of the regime that forced him out of office" Those aren't the words of an impartial journalist
-
Hope you posted this to him?
-
Exactly its hardly unbiased impartial journalism. Sale is just another of Lowes puppets
-
good idea imo
-
They went to prep school for scoundrels, together
-
like others have said its a no win situation get somone else in and they would have no time to implement their ideas on the squad, as we need to get results immediately. and if we stick with JP we're down. Basically were fooked either way

The last thing we need now is for Jan to pull off a freak result

I do want us to win as stated in my original post just that i feel a win could have negative implications in the bigger picture. -
Of course i always want the team to do well not wishing for a loss and know I will get slated for this but in all honesty I fear if jan manages to get another freak result ala reading away. It will give Lowe more ammunition to stick with Jan 'nice but clueless' poorvliet and time is of the essence if we are to have a hope of staying up Cue the abuse............
-
Agreed 100% theres lots of managers getting results from mediocre players and doing it on a shoestring budget, fed up with the constant excuses
-
One of the worst and most patronizing articles I haver ever seen, does the club think we are complete mugs or something! It makes my blood boil! Jan 'I think its a Fight"....... er no ******* sheet sherlock! Well thats okay then, the boys now know what they have to do, lets relax and watch our team fly up the table

The only way were get a new online record is if Lowe resigns and there is about as much chance of that as I have of being appointed the next manager -
Every one could have 'Jan looking clueless'

The figure was a lot higher than this I can remember when it was 980 something when it was called the saints forum -
I agree, I only suggested Henderson as A temporary care-taker appointment if needed but yes we need to get the next appointment right its absolutely crucial! and who have we entrusted the power to?
-
If I was the duck hunter (shudder) I would be getting rid of Jan with immediate effect from the end of today. Jan has my sympathy but in all honesty he shouldn't have accepted the job, cant blame him though. This gives us nearly a couple of weeks to get the man who best suits the task of keeping us up, somone with a track record of what it takes to survive in this league and they would have to be skilled in 'player motivation' god knows we could do with that! The question is would Lord Lowe know the right candidate if it bit him on the arse? My guess is we could end up with an even cheaper option as there will be nothing in the cofffers if we have to pay off Jan. I would probably appoint stuart henderson as care-taker manager to be honest he knows most of the players really well. However I dont think this meeting will end with Jan gone sadly, I think the norwich game will decide his future. You would think that if Jan goes Lowe has to aswell but we all know he won't be doing that!
-
whoa seven people want him to stay! I laugh in your face In the nicest way possible of course
-
Different periods as in different lengths in charge, as in you can't compare someone who had three months in charge with the record of somone who had a year and a half etc
-
also its not very relevant because all managers were at the club for different periods
