  1. let's be avin you! where is our twelfth man!
  2. Lets face it this team needs a wake-up call to kick start the season maybe this is it!................... then again
  3. Tropic thunder isn't crap but is nowhere near as funny as it thinks it is or indeed the trailer looked, the retard jokes quickly become tiresome, the undoubted highlight is downey Jr
  4. Can i have the abridged version?
  5. Can you be more specific?
  6. I think he's referring to Lowes personal shares
  7. Is it the case that Lowe will be with us for as long as it takes to get investment, in which case a very long time! or can his position become untenable again through fan power, disastrous decisions or other means?
  8. We are going places, places down the table and fast
  9. that sums it up really......... they say you get what you pay for, but we're certainly not getting anywhere near what we pay for
  10. rupert has no intention of selling up we are like his little toy that he likes playing with every so often, we are his school experiment. Seriously be honest this man has no place in football full-stop. Where are the details of the investment he has allegedly been trying to bring to the club? Is he even bothering to look for any?
  11. correction a less than half full stadium
  12. Have you considered that the carling cup is cheap tickets for a reason? i.e no-one gives a toss about it. That's the only reason it's eight quid. The league is where it's at, lower ticket prices and there will be an immediate increase in attendace
  13. If you think about this logically the club could easily lower prices without losing any money and bring the feel good factor back to st mary's again. they either charge the current £25 upwards and get crowds of 14,000 or they lower prices and get much more people in 22,000 + and improved atmosphere while building a better relationship with the fans, everyones a winner £15 for all tickets would be a massive difference they'd see a huge difference in turnout:D
  14. WTF! I was merely stating the game as the echo had reported not my personal opinion. Do you attack everyone who gives information on how the press sees things? chill the hell out
  15. Lowest attendance ever last night of 14,916! and a dreadful atmosphere according to the echo, with fans barely cheering even when we scored. I know it's midweek but by any standard it's a poor turnout . What in your opinion is the prime reason for this?
  16. We can't really base a team round peckhart he'll be going back in january
  17. Agree 1000% we are not playing surman in his best position, skacel is way over-rated but I would play him if he wasn't on the supposed appearance bonus
  18. We should be very worried the first five games have given us a clear idea of what to expect, but should give it another month before we start calling for heads to roll
  19. saints saints saints saints

    Simon Gillett

    Disagree
  21. I should be pleased a point is progress in a way, but everyone knows you have to win your home games. I am gonna make a bold statement and say we can forget making the playoffs with this team, in fact we can forget any sort of top half finish. hope I'm wrong but I don't think I will be

    Give it time

I agree with much of this in that we have to act immediately if things are still the same (as in relegation zone) in six weeks or so, but five games isn't long in anybody's book. I still believe till this day that had sturrock got a full chance instead of three matches, we would not be in this mess. And as everyone keeps saying what other choice have we got? Lowe has made his bed and we all have to lie in it
  23. Whats that got to do with anything? I was just stating that he would have been gone by now
  24. Look at this way if pearson was still here and had one win in five lowe would have culled him by now
  25. When you think about it logically how was it ever going to work Inexperienced manager(in this country) + In-experienced youngsters = in-experience all round Which ever way you look at it it's one hell of a gamble, I'm not saying it's not going to come good, but the signs don't look great
