Fucking Marsch? FFS no.

We were really good against City in the cup.... So he never played the same team again.
-
Give it to Gallardo in the absence of better options. 1. Proven record all be it in a lesser competitive league. 2. Available thus cheaper to 'get', to employ and thus fuck off at the end of the season if he's terrible 3. He's Argie, therefore by extension a world cup winner-ish 4. He's got a cool foreign name. 5. Alacaraz will love it. 6. From the 5 mins YouTube clip I've seen of Plat3 , thus making me an expert of South American football, they play great football. Also whilst we're all giving each other reach arounds for seeing that Jones was an abysmal appointment from the start, I'll add my onion in here too from that fateful day... He was and is proven to be The Guido Carillo appointment I predicted. So all roads lead to Argentina

Honestly, at this point could you just take over?
-
Was some of the funniest "Number-Wanging" the Forum had seen. Scored 4 goals in his entire career but because he was too shit to start, some thought it was a good goals/game ratio when in fact it just highlighted how unbelievably tosh he was. And the same will become of our dreadful manager.

But you know, mostly.

A timely reminder if ever it was needed that it doesn't matter who we sign with this utter shit cunt in charge -
Good, hopefully we can leave the horrid shit at Luton and pretend he never happened. Or you know, win.
-
Good we have enough donkeys on the payroll who couldn't score in a brothel with a Platinum Black business card, we don't need any others.
-
No idea where you are looking but this is what I could find (again I've not seen him play but for 20m I am not enthused): Overall positioning: https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/nicolas-jackson/profil/spieler/776890 https://www.fotmob.com/players/1197347/nicolas-jackson Matches (where he started including his last start on the 3rd Jan): https://www.fotmob.com/match/4087803/matchfacts/cartagena-vs-villarreal https://www.fotmob.com/match/4010252/matchfacts/lech-poznan-vs-villarreal https://www.fotmob.com/match/3917989/matchfacts/cadiz-vs-villarreal Subs is a little harder to tell but from the website above I can see that he sometimes replaces the main striker then also.
-
If this is correct (and you know this from watching him) then fair enough, then I stand corrected. BUUUUUUT every football profiling website and his position within the line-up for his last 5 starts has him as the CF. Not an attacking Left or Right - a CF. Either way 20m for a player that has 14 La Liga performances and 2 goals isn't money well spent in my eyes.
-
A reminder if one is needed, he has scored less than both Adams and Armstrong in a league often considered weaker than the prem. Oh he's also currently crocked. Still you know, young so we can sell him when he "improves". Fuck sake we don't need another "hope and see" striker.
-
Mind blown. Might watch those highlights on YouTube later

The most disappointing element of this result
-
To each his own. His "onboarding interview" was the usual banal media taught snooze fest for me. But when let loose on his own - oh boy! What inspiration!
-
He's incredibly unlikeable and, as is his lack of experience is showing on the field, it's also showing with and in the media with some absolutely ludicrous and isolating comments. When Ralph came on board his PR was spot on from the word go, bought everyone at the ground a beer, got some belief. Jones: "what were you expecting Barcelona?" Fuck sake.
-
So, how was the light show? Guido Carillo appointment.
-
It also makes his comments about 'not playing like Barcelona' look even more stupid. He's hardly endeared himself to fans (unlike Ralph in his early days) and he's clearly as equipped to manage a Prem team as some expected.
-
This 100%. Still we had a 8/10 window apparently...
-
The Guido Carillo appointment.
-
We'll need a miracle worker, so that's one plus.

They have a bigger budget than us, that's where it starts and ends. So sure, I can forgive Saints for not getting Emery (Wolves just got Julen Lopetegui if we are looking for additional ammunition on the manager front) but that doesn't mean we should therefore be looking in the bargain basement for a man who's managerial career in the last few years is patchy at best. His achievements with Luton are very good, his performance at Stoke was dogshit. We can and should aim higher especially for a team who have at least enough money to splash out c.25million on a striker. As for Che, if your argument is he is a striker and has scored, well then yeah. My counter to that would be he costs us as many points as he actually gains. For a man that hasn't scored more than 10 goals in a league campaign more than once, and that is ANY league, it's hardly a great look. 19 goals in 3 seasons for us. Perfectly useful backup and second striker (for those teams that still actually play an actual 2nd striker) but not a premier league player you want leading your line and pinning your hopes on to keep us up. I suspect I said he was an adequate back-up who would become a decent player. Shall we dig my comments in Carillo out for balance? Also, 'ello chap, how are ya
-
I could, but I won't. Some things are just blindingly obvious.
-
This is the Carillo equivalent of a managerial signing. Cheap championship striker in Adams, didn't work. Cheap championship striker in Che, didn't work. Cheap championship manager, won't work. Villa got Emery. Laughable.
-
Thought it was a fairly accurate review to be honest. Lacking in any real quality going forwards, lucky to get away with it with some decent defensive performances and very hard working. Thankfully Solanke is utter toilet.
