I’ve become a fan. But I’m trying to work out whether it’s genius or whether it’s just down to us having the best/2nd best/3rd best team in the division. The fact that Still was appallingly bad gives us an upside sense of trajectory. But I think you’d expect this squad to get about 1.8 points per game.

I think he only had 9 touches in the Oxford match (source: The Saints Podcast), but still seems to help our overall game even then.

We’re measurable - but not overwhelming- odds against making the Play Off Final. We’re massive odds against making the FA Cup Final.

Definitely agree we go full strength v Arsenal. Blasphemy to even think this - but if we are getting well beaten, we will probably give up on the match and make subs with the league in mind.

My head says it's still a bit of a stretch for us to make it. We need one hell of a continued run in the last 11 games. Doable, but slightly odds against at a guess to be completely rational about it.
