  1. Not a bad shout at all, I don't trust his crossing but he'd make a great cb.
  2. I know, I misread, that's why I apologised above.
  3. Sorry, I didn't read the bit where you mentioned the purchase, you are totally correct.
  4. Shaw is a bad example, he won't be on the books as a youth team product although he is of course an asset, just one that cannot be recognised.
  5. I have a narrow skill-set, let me have my moment
  6. Basic rule, you amortise the player's transfer fee over the contract of the player. As internally generated intangible assets, youth players have no accounting value, but would be valued in the event of a takeover as the assets now have a readily determinable value and can be seperated from goodwill.
  7. Highly rated by palace fans when sold though, if it had been for only 200k I think they would have rioted. I'm not criticising you, I just don't think Fonte for 1.2m was in any way a bad deal or more than he was worth at the time. We payed 1.2m for Wayne Thomas, now THAT was a bad deal.
  8. The same Fonte who's worth more than 1.2million ?
  9. We've all noticed, we're just having fun imagining the megadome after a crappy week.
  10. Kruger and Hoffsetter appear to be a German tax consultation firm.
  11. Apparently on the brink again. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2540763/Rangers-squad-rejects-15-pay-troubled-Scottish-giants-look-cut-costs.html Who gets a 200k bonus for winning the third division though? Are they absolutely mad? The article then goes on to say that the 22m share issue pot isn't in any danger of running out but that they made losses of 14m to June so I'm not sure how there maths works out either
  12. It's not just the far east, the Venky's, Pompey's Israeli effort, Hull City's Egyptian tycoon, Shiksin Thanakatrwa (sp) of Manchester City, the Glazers at United were massively unpopular, there have been some pretty awful premier league owners from all corners of the world.
  13. What the hell is a fraudulent slip? A dishonest young girl?
  14. Once more then, does anyone know who actually owns us? Is it KL or a trust set up by Markus as NC alluded to?
  15. See, again I don't understand this ?Are we not owned by the trust ?
  16. Liverpool fans I know hate him and laughed when I mentioned his name. Always a sign of a good leader that.
  17. What I don't understand though doesn't the trust own us not Katherina?
  18. Non execs are boardmembers who take non performance based remuneration. They are still board-members with fullpowers she is not CEO, nor is she chair of the board but considering she owns the club I doubt that matters.
  19. Twitter? Twitter is a social media device, who exactly is saying it is what matters.
  20. Seriously? We got an arse fecking and Tommy Forecast for Bale.
  21. I am astonishingly upset about this considering I cared so little when our last few CEOs up and left.
  22. Someone who has no experience in football negotiations? Say what you like about Cortese but he was a phenomenal negotiator.
  23. Purslow sounds like a decent replacement to be fair, Harvard MBA and all
