The story is a bit dramatic (daily mail surprise surprise!) It would only leave us £15M down if we didn’t have a sponsor for the next two years which is obviously not going to happen. It might see us not receive as much much would imagine it’ll only be £5M short over two years. Also if the club have known about it and have been looking for a new sponsor do you think they would have sold shirts with their logo on knowing they will have to replace them if the sponsor changes?

A loan into club secured against assets. Very common and plenty of clubs do it to asset with cash flow

Think it’s a general thing with footballers. Socks are too tight on their calfs so they cut holes to release the pressure. It’s also why a lot of them don’t have feet too then either!

Wont be a loss in the accounts though. Signed for £15M on a five year deal back in 2017. So 3/5 of the way through the contract would likely mean 9M of the transfer has been processed through the accounts leaving just £6M to go, which is roughly what the articles are saying we will sell for.

Don’t get this Levy won’t let us have KWP now talk. Everton made an offer, saints say to spurs if you want him you’ll need to up your offer/make an offer around this. If spurs decide not to then so be it. We shouldn’t not accept Everton offer because spurs want to pay less.

If you go high the keeper isn’t going to save it, you just have to get it on target. if you go low then the keeper has a chance and you need to get it on target. it’s fine margins, he’s our set piece specialist so I wouldn’t go changing it just because he missed against Everton

Wonder what colour the away shirt is to need a third kit? Black or blue I guess so it means we can’t wear against palace or Newcastle? (Bournemouth too if they survive)

I think Adams has been unlucky as he is the backup to Ings and Obafemi is the back up to Long. We haven’t really seen Ings and Adams start much which I guess there must be a reason for but would like to see it given a go.
