Sounds like SJ is trying to get him an in at a club. First he leaks about us being for sale and then a month later says about this guy looking at us as an option to buy. All probably true but in Southampton and Millwall they are two very different clubs with different price points. Id imagine Rohl was out Plan A but he’s holding out for a top tier job in Germany and Still is our plan B. if Plan A hasn’t progressed and there is a chance Plan B could go somewhere else, do you hold out waiting for Plan A or move to get Plan B instead. Sounds we have gone for Still because he’ll be an option for other championship sides and Rohl is still keeping us on hold.

I’m assuming we are waiting for the season to be over before making the announcement but if it is Rohl we want, now the Championship season is over I hope we firm up and get it sorted. Even if he doesn’t officially start yet, just get it done, give the players a few games to try and put some effort in and impress the new manager.

Tbh I don’t really care who goes. They have shown (bar a couple) they aren’t good enough for the PL, so as long as we get a fair price for them I’d sell anyone who isn’t up for the fight of returning straight back up.
