The difference this season when playing 3 centre backs is we have surrendered the Che Adams player for an extra midfielder - I assume to be more trickier to breakdown. maybe once everyone is upto speed we should go to 4-2-3-1 with Lesley and Flynn as the two with Armstrong BBD and a more trickier (Dibling even) as the 3. Get a proper centre forward in to lead the line. If KWP goes then get a proper left back in too.

A move always seemed unlikely due to cost but if Wolves have made a move then I guess if we have any interest then we’ll have to go too. Probably no bad thing, if we miss out / don’t make an offer it gives us time to go elsewhere.

They couldn’t sell due to their high asking price, I’d be surprised if anyone loans him for £6M unless it’s with option to buy. i can see him being a deadline day move when Arsenal lower their asking price to get him out.

Those loans will probably come with 2 weeks or so prior to window closing when clubs realise they aren’t going to sell them

The amount of people over on twitter who just think you pay the asking price and get it done quickly clearly play too much Football Manager. Celtic have been slow because they are trying to get more interest to maximise the price they eventually get. I’m sure if we went in with £25M at beginning of July they would then hold out for even more. Just the way transfers go
