Oh do f**k off. Guly was in a league of his own today. Sad statement about our other attacking options that he gets to play every week. If we do anything in January, it should be to replace Guly.
-
According to @john_percy who is the midland journalist quoted by simon peach, ipswich are also in for him but we are favoufites.
-
Yeah it was Guly. When the opposition are pressing, you can almost see the cogs turning in his brain. He seems so slow at times but give him a little space and he can play a superb pass.
-
Not going to have a go at our top scorer but I would like to know his goal to chances ratio.

As this is a non-football related injury, it is surprising but nice to see that Adkins is at the hospital. My respect for the gaffer continues to grow through his actions - a very decent man.

Maybe look at Fountaine again in January when his ankle has healed.

This. If anything we were no more than a useful bargaining tool to maximise any potential offer from Hull. Can't complain really as we have used such an approach ourselves as a club.

On the way / just got home from the game thread...

Harding was always free as an outlet but his use of the ball was quite erratic. I did feel that at times we were trying to pass the ball into the net and needed to shoot when we had opportunities. -

This. Except I walked away with my daughter. NA changed it nicely at half time and flooded the midfield. On any other day we would have gone on to win. The last half hour was simply fantastic to watch, fluent pass and move that would grace the Premiership. Leicester tired badly as they did also against Forest. Guly and Lambert were off colour for me. Problem with the lack of a new striker is there were no real options off the bench. MoM for me was Connolly who worked his socks off even when he was outmuscled by larger opponents. -
Sven knows it takes time for a side to gel. This is why he is so relaxed in the interviews at mo. Leicester will definitely be title contenders. This is a good time to play them as I feel that after Christmas they will be a much tougher proposition.

If Seaborne went then we would definitely need another CB. Can't see it being Barney except on loan coz of his court case. Surely MK Dons wouldn't take a player at risk of jail time.
-
LOL at the West Ham fan on twitter that tweeted some guy in San Francisco about signing for them (he happened to be called Samuel Baldock).
-
The MK Dons forums are quoting £3.5 million plus player.

What foresight! Must get a lottery ticket this week.
-
Not sure they think he is better than Maynard now but he has a lot of potential. He is certainly better value for money if the around £2M is to be believed compared with £5M plus for Maynard.
-
Great if possible but I worry about our strength in depth. We were tiring against Millwall and were fortunate not to have a cup game midweek.
-
The Bristol news story says he is recovering from ankle surgery. Do we know if / when he will be fit enough to play? Seems to me this deal will depend heavily on the medical.

Good sign that we can withstand pressure and get the result. -
A lot of posters talking about needing a CB and a striker. We've heard a lot of rumours about strikers - Maynard and Rodriguez leading the way. Not much talk about CB though. We thought Gorkss might come as part of any deal for Puncheon but if that doesn't go through then what are the other options? What do people think?

To answer my own questions. I phoned the ticket office and registered. All nice and easy to do. Now bought two tickets for the Leicester game - my daughter will be thrilled. Last time we went to a game was a few years ago at the Ricoh Arena and we had to sit with Coventry fans.
-
Quick question. Do you Still need to be a member to buy away tickets over the phone? Will they post tickets out to you?

Are you his agent?

This is what annoys me about the work permit thing. French clubs can sign him no problem but we can't. There needs to be clearer pan European rules for this. I've also been annoyed that Iberian clubs can take their pick of the South American talent because of dual-nationality.
